The theme was on point as to what it said and the room was cute. The puzzles were not particularly difficult or unique but it was fun overall. We didn’t particularly like the clue giving process as we were each doing a separate puzzle and kept forgetting to put the answer in the tablet on the wall so we could get a helpful clue should we need one.
It flowed well and was easy to follow.
Overall good theme. No special effects but you were definitely in a toy room.
Jordan, our game master, was great. Super nice and informative.

This is a small room. Definitely no more than four adults could be in the room and working puzzles at once.

You could crawl at one point but didn’t have to.
Very color based and a small room. A wheelchair would have had a difficult time moving around in the space. One of our players is totally colorblind but was able to help us with some guidance as to what was what color.

Good for kiddos. Our whole family enjoyed it.

This room was just ok. Lots of puzzles and non-linear to start so it’s a little overwhelming with the information you have. The intro to the room just made it even more confusing about what the goal is- it’s way too detailed and gives you too many instructions to be of any use. The puzzles were just ok- each one basically tells you how to solve for the next puzzle so it’s not so much of figuring out what to do, but just doing it. The reveal at the end was cute but wish they would’ve incorporated it into the room.
Very non-linear

This was our second room of our night with Escape Thrill, and our game master Anastasia. If you’re someone over the age of 13, and may be skeptical about the theming- do not underestimate this room. It’s non-linear puzzles are still as challenging as a room with a more mature theme, and was overall fun, and rewarding when you reached the prize on the other side of this room!
The gameplay was very fun, also non-linear, similar to their room Sixth Wave which we started our night with. Even though this room was fun, bright and overall family friendly. For three adults, the gameplay did become frustrating at times and lending itself to some not-so-family-friendly language- BUT, that was a good thing! 🤣
I’m not usually one for corny, brightly-colored rooms. But, I think the way that the folks as Escape Thrill designed this one is the way it SHOULD be done.
Bless our game master, Anastasia for putting up with us for the night. She was juggling several other rooms along with ours, but still did it with care and ease, and we appreciated her immensely for that level of premiere professionalism.
Yes
When we first saw the theme of the room, I was a little skeptical, as I knew it was geared more towards family groups. But when we actually got inside I was surprised how much fun we all had!
The story was fantastic, themed around four toy characters, with distinctive colors and puzzles that you had to solve in order to access their secret dollhouse room.
Medium
I would place this one at a medium level of difficulty, easy for kids, but challenging enough for adults as well. Something to keep everyone entertained.
Mechanical
This room was a good mix of both, including one laser-mirror puzzle. But it was pretty analytical, a lot of math equations and hands-on activity more than anything else.
3
We were able to complete the room with a lot of time to spare for a room of 3 adults. But I would say if you have a larger group, or plan on bringing young kids, that it would still be accommodating.
Not scary
This room was not scary, at all- think Big Comfy Couch, or Pee-Wee’s Playhouse.
5
I would say if you’re going to bring your kids, definitely make sure they’re at an age where they’d be cool with solving some mildly complicated puzzles and are okay with standing in the same room for extended periods of time.

Not at all
I would say the only physical part is crawling through the secret door to reach the dollhouse-room on the other side, but there is a work around.
There is a work around available if you’re not able to fit through the dollhouse’s secret room door.
