Jack the Ripper

We were trapped on a layover and due to the storm we had no choice but stay over in PA. Luckily, there was an escape room right around the corner from where the airport put us up for the night. The rooms looked amazing from the website but the only room available before closing was Jack the Ripper. I will typically avoid horror themed rules but escaping beggars can't be choosers. Right away we chained to the walls and had to figure out a way to escape. This took a lot longer than I hoped/expected and really made us have to race through the remainder of the room. The setting was your expected torture dungeon but there was a nice surprise when the next section opened up to a lovely Victorian parlor. There was a lot of detail here which made me appreciate the room so much more. The puzzles were solid and gave a lot for us to do. I wouldn't do this room with any more than three people as it does get linear quickly. The staff were great and accommodating and would come back in a heartbeat!

I wanted to like this game. But any game that restrains players with no easy exit in 2026 is not ok.

Absolutely thrilling from start to finish! The atmosphere is dark, tense, and beautifully immersive — you really feel like you’re trapped in the foggy atmosphere of old London hunting down the infamous killer. The puzzles are clever and well-paced, balancing logic with a touch of creepiness. Perfect for anyone who loves mystery, teamwork, and a bit of adrenaline. Highly recommend for groups who want a challenge and a story that stays with you even after you escape. It is a Gen 1 room but very nicely executed. Almost notstalgic. things make sense

This was a fun room! It's very immersive and has a pretty terrifying start! The puzzles were clever and allowed our group to think outside the box.

Jack the Ripper was a great room! A good mixture of locks and practical puzzles. Great atmosphere and Lee was a great game master. Would highly recommend

The staff here is nice and the design of the rooms are luxurious however the games are really lacking because half the stuff is broken. When we asked for clues on puzzles they were delayed for a significant amount of time (for each time we’ve been here we did 2 rooms here) . We do a lot of escape rooms and try to be gentle with what we open / pick up. Everything here is so fragile, half of it is broke. And often at times you complete a puzzle and nothing happens bc the the puzzles don’t work right. Disappointing.

The coolest part about this game was the beginning with how you and your group start. Maybe I'm good at context clues, but we figured out the solution to who Jack the Ripper was midway through the game. Room was very dark and somehow the darkness didn't add to the theme, but just felt rather cheap.

I thought the puzzles were good and pretty original. I’m good at escape rooms but we only had two and ultimately didn’t end up finishing

The theme was okay to me but didn’t compare to the other two (Thai prison and Alice in Wonderland)
