Making the best of an unexpected flight layover during a storm isn't easy, so we're thrilled you found us and decided to give Jack the Ripper a try! We love hearing that the reveal of the Victorian parlor was such a pleasant surprise and that the puzzle details hit the mark for your group. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we take player safety and comfort very seriously. Restraint mechanics are meant to enhance the immersion, but they should never make anyone feel genuinely unsafe or trapped. We have immediate release button right next to the restraints. In case of an emergency people can quickly and safely escape. All rooms either have doors unlocked or emergency release buttons. We are actively reviewing how we brief players beforehand and ensuring all quick-release mechanisms are explicitly explained. We're glad our game master took good care of you during your solo run, and we really value your input as we refine our safety communication.
