THIS IS A HELL HOUSE. It is specifically used by Freedom Church to recruit new members and scare people into their beliefs. The haunted maze part of the event is spectacular. The scenes are gruesome and disturbing actual ways people die. The set is incredible. There are a ton of dedicated actors. It’s unsettling and very very well done. Then you are rushed into a sanctuary where they play videos of real car accidents and suicides caught on camera. It’s shocking and horrifying. There’s more performance and then a short sermon and alter call. This whole event is about converting people to the Freedom Church. As an outreach tool I think it’s highly inappropriate. The choices they make cross lines. But as a haunt the 2019 event made me cry and this year we walked out during the videos of actual deaths. Is it scary? ABSOLUTELY!!! Scariest event I’ve ever been to! Do I recommend it? Only to people that know what it is they are walking into. I wouldn’t want anyone to walk in blind and be caught off guard by the recruitment aspect. I’m fascinated by this event. I am impressed by this event. It sticks with me. However I do not think anyone should be scared into a belief system.

I get it, the point of this “hell house” is to shock me into joining the church, but showing real footage of people dying in car accidents and jumping to their death is just gross and disrespectful to the families of the deceased.
