Disappearance: Last Location

We initially really liked the room and thought it had a lot of potential. Some of the puzzles were genuinely fun, but unfortunately, the overall experience ended up being more of a “meh” than anything else. One puzzle made absolutely no sense to us, and two others just felt anticlimactic and didn’t really go with the flow of the game. Even after getting a hint, we were still standing there thinking, “But why would that make sense?” We’ve done plenty of escape rooms, and there’s a difference between a puzzle that’s challenging and one that just doesn’t seem logical. Two of the puzzle props also seemed pretty dated and worn, which made them unnecessarily difficult to figure out. It wasn’t that we couldn’t solve the puzzles, but rather that the props themselves made it harder than it needed to be. The room could definitely use some TLC. What really didn’t help was our game master seemingly forgetting about us twice. We couldn’t reach them when we needed assistance, and certain sound cues that were supposed to happen weren’t activated. That’s pretty frustrating when you’re standing around trying to figure out what you’re missing, only to realize the game itself isn’t progressing because someone isn’t paying attention. I wouldn’t give this room a complete thumbs-down because there were definitely some fun moments, and we did enjoy parts of it. We previously played Cinema 7 at this location and really liked it, so we were looking forward to trying another room here. Unfortunately, Disappearance just didn’t live up to that experience. Between some questionable puzzle choices, aging props, and the issues with the game master, we left feeling pretty underwhelmed. We had considered trying more of their rooms, but after this experience, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Some of the puzzles were not very intuitive. But the gameplay integrated into the story really well.

Another great room with Will To Escape! We did this one right after Cinema 7, and honestly, I think I personally liked it more than the last! Though Cinema 7 was a lot cooler in terms of story and set design and atmosphere, Disappearance was really fun in terms of puzzles. There were some really cool novel puzzles that I thought really put you in the story. I could also see this one being a really difficult room for newer players, so please do not be afraid of asking for hints!! Check it out for sure!

This room was dark and spooky. For 2 people was a bit difficult, it’s better if you have 4. Some of the puzzle took us longer since there was only 2 of us going back and forwards. But our GM Luis was amazing shout out to him

We played Disappearance: Last Location at Will to Escape on May 16th as a group of three, and landed on a 6/10 overall. The theme follows a creepy investigation into your missing friend Greg’s last known GPS signal, and the room leans heavily into spooky atmosphere and set design. The space is definitely the highlight — moody, immersive, and effective without going over the top. Gameplay-wise, it was very linear and straightforward. We never needed hints and actually finished with about 25 minutes left, which made it feel a bit too short and on the easier side (around a 4/10 difficulty). The game master was also really kind and made the experience especially comfortable for me as a bit of a scaredy-cat, even though they weren’t part of the story. Overall, strong vibes and a smooth flow, but best suited for newer players or teens rather than seasoned escape room groups.

We absolutely loved this room. With the rooms we’ve done here so far, this one comes in second behind Cinema 7. It was a fun game with some fun puzzles and a bit of mystery. It was a bit spooky but not scary. Our only complaint was that the room temperature was way too hot. GM was super nice.

there was in total 14 Locks in there. With keys, number codes... only 1 mechanical which opened without a lock. also we asked for hints so we can for sure finish it. they told us several times they can do it. then the time was over and we still had 2-3 riddles to solve. I was not happy at all.

Enjoyed it overall. Creepy vibes.

Theming was excellent. Basic keys and locks but decent room. It was dark and spooky so geared toward older kids.
