Not my favorite room of the season. I take responsibility for not saying something at the time. The GM hit a point in the game where they essentially just walked us through the room. We were never given a chance to really try to solve the puzzles ourselves. Now in all honesty, we were late. We called and let them know and they said we could start as soon as we arrived. I felt we were rushed through it so they could leave. I gave the room a thumbs down which want fair. Looking back, I think if I had spoken up, the room would have been 100 percent better. The set looked great and really set the time. There were cute little touches that tickled me. If you like The Grinch then this is the room for you. The puzzles were strong and were a lot of fun. I will give the room another chance.

The escape room was hard but the ending was AWESOME. So perfect and our group still talks about it as it was so great

Let me start off that the design was very well done and the puzzles were well done as well. The room itself was very well designed. It had the potential to be wonderful, but the game master decided to come in the room even though we were doing fine. After he came in without us even asking for a clue, he pretty much did the puzzles for us and stayed the entire rest of the game, which caused my friend to just step back and watch pretty much. At one point he even laughed at us doing one of the puzzles. Had the game master just given us clues over the walkie talkie this room would have been great. The end of the game was fun. This game would be fun with small groups.
The game design itself was good.

This was a cute Christmas game 😀 Definitely better for smaller groups. The website claims up to a group size of 9, but I think that would be pretty crowded personally. Wouldn’t go over 2-3 max. Some elements of the game are multilinear and some are linear. It’s definitely on the easier side, good for families. Of the two we did here, it’s my favorite. Escaped in 30 minutes with 3 enthusiasts. Kordell was our game host!
