For sake of transparency, I co-own the Secret Combinations Escape Rooms. I also think this room is on the fence between a thumbs-up and a heart from me. My TL;DR review: I didn't like that we needed the actor's help so much in Red Giant's easiest room. But the actor herself, and just about everything else in the room, was very good.
I describe Red Giant as "the boss fight of all Utah escape rooms." I frequently recommend Red Giant to players who are beginning to find everything else too easy. No matter which room you pick here, there will always be plenty enough to keep you occupied. The gameplay was fun. There were novel elements and some innovative tech. Red Giant packs so much in their rooms that players usually depend quite heavily on their game master to finish. This approach isn't my personal favorite, but I'm glad it exists for those who like it.
The set design was quite detailed and impressive. They've earned quite a reputation on this aspect. There were a lot of red dots (a lot a lot). Red Giant also tends to have a lot of rooms in each experience. But the rooms themselves weren't each as big as I expected. 6+ players could feel tight to me at the beginning, but when people can spread across multiple rooms, that part gets easier. (And believe me, you will spread.)
The host and guide were both *outstanding.* Our actor was very nice, helpful, and in-theme. I'd say she was even my favorite part of the room (high praise). I prefer beating a room without much help, but that being said, she was amazing. As a curious co-owner at Secret Combinations, I hear a lot about many rooms all the time. It's *very* rare that I hear negative things about the quality of their actors.
Yes
Such a glamorous set and having a live actor to help you makes Red Giant quite a memorable experience.

Hard to say. This room has plenty for people to divide and conquer, but a massive group could also make it feel tight at the beginning.

The content is kid-friendly, but the difficulty is not.

Yes. At Red Giant, your game masters are also actors. But there isn't anyone here to scare you in this room.

Honestly was super fun. Went here as a group of 4 and was instantly overwhelmed with how many puzzles were happening at once! Some puzzles did NOT make sense with how to get there, but they still had many cool features that I hadn’t seen before.
Very overwhelming with puzzles. Super fun and keeps you in your toes with how overworked you get.
Very neat settings and props.
The actor was super nice and funny, really appreciated his attitude.

Super fun! Definitely a little tough. One of the keys didn’t work but they gave us what we needed quickly.

On the one hand, we barely made it out of this one and that adrenaline rush is always a good feeling. On the other hand, Red Giant's system isn't necessarily my favorite. It's the one business where it feels like quantity over quality and I'm required to bring more people. Use the actor they provide you - there's so much to get through that if you're stuck too long you can fall behind very quickly. It's also worth noting that there are a couple puzzles/things that you can do before you're meant to so be careful what you try.
Fine. Quantity of quality.
Pretty average.
Staff was fine. I don't love when businesses ask me to tip my GM.

This was a hard one for our group of three, but definitely fun. Unfortunately, I do not know our time because our picture did not come through on the email, but it definitely gave us a run for our money. Would recommend, but expect to use most of the time you are given. ASK QUESTIONS to your GM/ actor

Quite a few locks, which I don’t love, but still fun. It also has a decent set. These rooms are made for large groups and require you to utilize the actor.
Puzzles were fun. These rooms require a decent amount of people, so it does feel like you miss a majority of the room, and if you don’t utilize the actor you will not escape.
Nice set, parts of it aren’t as clean cut as I would like, but still well done.
Staff was nice.
Nothing crazy, but unique in style.
Simple, but effective
Medium
A few tech elements but mostly mechanical.
