This room was definitely VERY fun. This was our first room at Ingenious. Definitely a memorable experience, some of that is because we're two goofy men that work well with each other, but most of that is the well though out room. It's got a nice spooky atmosphere that is tense but not scary. I don't think I'd recommend it for kids younger than 12, but there's nothing graphic, violent, or unsafe. Some interesting puzzle mechanics that worked well. As others have noted, there's a particular one that is a little tricky but fun. Our experience was smooth and enjoyable. Crawling and a very small amount of climbing is required. I wouldn't recommend if you don't like strobing lights, tight spaces, or pitch black spaces.
Gameplay
Atmosphere
The atmosphere in this one is pretty spot on perfect. There's a decent story and the puzzles are pretty much all immersive and fit the room well.
Customer service
Always great!
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
What we liked about it is that it was spooky without being overtly scary. We're not necessarily big on horror, though we're not opposed. It strikes a good balance between scary and fun without being silly or actually frightening. Though my partner did yelp out loud a couple of times. But he's just a big chicken at times.
Story
If you look a spooky asylum vibe, you'll probably enjoy this. I won't spoil anything else though.
Difficulty
Medium
There's a puzzle or two we asked for hints for, but we probably didn't actually need them. One puzzle is a little artificially tricky because it is a tiny bit finnicky.
Game tech
Mechanical
Mostly mechanical stuff.
Ideal number of players
3
Probably 3 or 4. Any more than that and it would be too crowded and maybe too easy.
Scary
Spooky
Minimum age

Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
Yes
Sort of. Not in the room. But there is a brief moment.
Physically active
Somewhat
Some crawling, some crouching, a very small amount of climbing. Everyone will need to crawl a tiny bit, but at least one person will have to be a bit more active.
Accessibility
Can't do it in a wheelchair, and if you can't crawl this isn't for you. Someone will have to climb a small amount. I wouldn't recommend for someone with epilepsy, though I'm sure they could turn off the strobe effect if needed.
Easy to find location
No
It's in a storage area behind a furniture store. It sometimes feels like you're going the wrong way lol, but it's fine. Nothing too tricky.
Parking
Easy
Safety
Yes
