Battleship

I had a great time in this escape room! You have the option to play as a team or competitively, and of course we played competitively lol. The set design was impressive and the puzzles truly were easy, medium, and hard. Each puzzle was so unique and intricate, and it was interesting to see our own attempts on the same puzzles. I completed it with one other player, and we weren’t able to solve all of the puzzles, understandably. I would recommend 4-6 players because of the space and the complexities of the puzzles that were presented, but overall, I enjoyed it and would have loved to replayed this room! Unfortunately they are closing November 17th, so I’ll miss this escape room location.

Bombs (and friendships) away! Dive into a life-size game of battleship where every puzzle solved earns you cannonballs to sink your rival’s fleet. Teamwork ends as soon as you place your ships on the board. There are puzzles galore—so many that even the best crews haven’t solved them all. With countless riddles, word scrambles, and scavenger hunts, this is the ultimate test for extreme competitors. I would have loved if there was a creative way to get hints for puzzles. Sometimes we were a small nudge away from solving something.

A head to head type of escape room. A spin on the classic game of the same name, you solve puzzles of various difficulties to obtain cannonballs in order to sink your opponents ships. We played collaboratively, where we split the cannonballs between each team for each round. Even such, some of the puzzles were challenging and we didn't get to all of them. A surprisingly difficult room by the end of it. Overall fun, and well designed. Atmosphere was fantastic.

This gets a heart from me for the unique design - competitive puzzle solving - along with the really cool battleship game setup. I can see some nitpicky people complaining that it's not a standard escape room, but as a fan of puzzles and the evil geniuses who construct them, I really enjoyed the variety and the setup. This was so FUN to do with friends, and I'm not just saying that because in the climactic sudden death moment, we sank their battleship. (Muahaha. Cue "We Are the Champions.") Also, lifting a glass of mead in honor of Davey and Bora, the OG designers of this room and the much-missed still-loved Time Machine. Not Another Escape Room may be gone but it'll never be forgotten.

Not your traditional escape room! Fun concept ideal for 4 people. Lots of puzzles that can be solved as individuals or pairs

Such a wonderful game and such a great use of space! Amazing game for anyone who likes board games, and escape rooms!

This is not a traditional escape room. It’s a competition against another team. Find the ammo and blast away!

8/10 If you are competitive, this is the perfect game for you. Puzzles ranging anywhere from easy to very hard with the added difficulty of trying to out solve another team. Be careful, opposing players might play dirty! Now if you are not the competitive type, they do have an option to play the game like a regular escape room where everyone works together on all of the puzzles. Glad Deceptive Games stayed true to the original. Definitely worth checking out!

Very interesting to achieve by solving as many puzzles as you can and using some strategies!

cool room! lots of puzzles and good for a group of 4-6. our group had fun! probably a good idea to have a strategy.. definitely recommend this room! i’ll be back to do the others for sure.
