We went a few minutes over on this one and the GM let us finish, which I appreciated. We are an experienced duo and the GM said we were the only group of 2 he's ever seen finish, so take that as you will. There is a lot to get through here, and some of the cluing is EXCEEDINGLY mediocre. I'd say about 80% was pretty good, 20% were puzzles that could have been made better in some capacity. Certainly not the best room I've ever done. Parking is paid and a bit of a PITA. They have a "hint" button which is overall worthless and also a "clue" button where you can actually speak to the GM. Overall a very middling experience.

Our game-master recognized us from 2 years ago when I played my 3rd escape room. : O : ) He courteously allowed us to start our games early. He was kind, helpful & comical. Cursed City was a fun date with my boyfriend. We were told we’re the first pair to escape Cursed City. ^_^ We did find it more challenging than Mayan Curse.

Great GM - great aesthetics and cool puzzles BUT this should be a 75 min room - full stop. We only got hung up twice and we still had 2 rooms left to get through after 60 mins. Also the sound effect when a puzzle is solved needs to louder - we wasted time twice solving puzzles that were already solved. That being said, we are excited to come back and tackle this room again. I recommend at least 3-4 people.
