This is a decent enough serial killer cabin game (though only the 2nd, possibly 3rd or 4th best serial/cereal killer game from this company). Most of the game really doesn’t do anything very special with such a common theme. There’s some annoyingly repetitive audio things that try to immerse in the world, but they if anything take you out a bit. The only highlight of the 1st 2/3s of the game is one hilarious detail that I'm really happy a puzzle requires you to read through. It’s great. The game does pick-up to an extent in the finale. Your overall goal in it is really compelling, like, just seeing what you have to do is entertaining, even if the actual gameplay still amounts to a bunch of just decent-enough puzzles. There’s some interesting lore here too, but like the other darker games from Masterpiece, the lore is only explained by the gamemaster and isn’t shown well during the game itself. It’s decent, but Wrecked does everything this game does but a lot better. In fact, I like every full game at Masterpiece better than this, meaning I find it hard to recommend it unless you really like serial killer cabin themes, you haven’t done way too many killer cabin escape rooms already, or you’re trying to complete this entire facility. It really isn’t anything special, other than that oddly compelling finale or that really funny detail in the middle. (This game is above average, I sound pessimistic in this review because it didn’t impress me the way the other games here did) Masterpiece Ranking 1. Bagman 2. Wrecked 3. Coral Kingdom 4. Deadwood Saloon 5. Metro Mayhem 6. Missing 7. Breakfast All Day

I really enjoyed this set and the transitions between rooms. There was a very simple, yet awesome puzzle in this room that I will never forget. Don’t be scared by the spooky label. I’m afraid of my own shadow and I did fine!

My wife and I have done four rooms at Masterpiece and have loved all of them (Wrecked, Missing, Coral Kingdom and Metro Mayhem). All are doable with just two but there is plenty to do for more than two. This room was our least favorite of the four but it was still a lot of fun and a great room. We have figured out that we enjoy the whimsical rooms more than the creepy rooms. This room had that creepy vibe to put you into the theme without being too scary though. The Game Masters for all of our games at Masterpiece gave us great nudges when needed and were all super nice. Highly recommend Masterpiece.

Missing was a respectable gen 1 room that had some interesting ideas but was unfortunately a little disjointed. The lighting and set design was less than ideal, and while some puzzles stood out as winners, there was also a lot of filler that felt less enjoyable. I would recommend Missing to a local who had already played out most of Charlotte, but unfortunately there is not a lot here that separates it from the pack.

We had a great time! Sky was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. It was so fun interacting with her throughout the game. This is our first room here and we were ready to do a second room right after we finished the first. The atmosphere was thrilling and puzzles were non-linear so everyone got to participate in solving the puzzles. Don't get so caught up in the puzzles that you lose the storyline, it is a good back story as well.

Very good, multiple rooms, need to crawl. There's a bit of a murder mystery aspect that isn't necessary to solve, but is definitely a fun bonus if you do solve it. LOCKS UPON LOCKS!
