Great puzzles. Well done. One malfunctioned but overall unique without having repetitive padlock type puzzles.

Not a bad room—just not a style of room I enjoyed. My teammate had a great time and definitely enjoyed it more than I did. Pros: • Fun Monopoly theme! If you’re a Monopoly fan you will love the room, and definitely enjoy the small details and Easter eggs • Lots of fun little details if you take the time to read them! #monopolymindset • Several fun, interactive elements, especially in the beginning—most notably the method of getting into the second area Cons (for me): • Unclear puzzle flow at times, wherein we weren’t sure what to do next • Several skill-based puzzles that can be a time suck if you don’t get the hang of them • 2 mechanics that make a very loud noise and have delayed activation • Team size unclear? We were told 2 people was totally fine, but this room is not the best for a team of 2; you will have more fun with more people (about 3-4). However, there are some points where only 1-2 people can do a task at a time, so there may be times where everyone else is just standing around Overall, a fun room if you’re a Monopoly fan and don’t mind skill-based elements! This room has a unique theme, unique puzzles, and is best for a team of 3+
The puzzles were definitely novel, with some cool & unique puzzle styles. Mostly non-linear puzzles; we did not feel the puzzle flow was clear at times. Several skill-based puzzles that can be time sucks if you don’t get the hang of them
Set was fun! The Monopoly theme was definitely cool
Our GM Kayla had a good sense of when to help
Yes
Unique theme for sure! If you’re a Monopoly fan, it is definitely worth checking out (and will likely increase enjoyment)
Story felt unclear/there wasn’t much of a plot, but given the Monopoly theme that’s likely harder to do
Medium
Mostly for the skill-based elements that can eat a lot of time, the other puzzles/elements were relatively easy
High tech
Only 1 padlock

We were a team of 2, and it is doable with 2; we were told by the GMs 2 was fine, and weren’t told anything required more than 2 people, but this room would be much smoother/easier with about 3-4 people.
Not scary
But—2 distinct mechanics which cause a very loud noise that might scare some (it scared us lol!)

One puzzle not working/out of commission at the time (but this was not told to us beforehand)

Somewhat
Especially with 2 people—a bit of running around and a puzzle mechanic that is a bit active!
Not very—small spaces, loud noises, a fair amount of movement required, bending down, dim lights

This room isn't super special, but the puzzles are on theme, and I found it very nostalgic. I was disappointed in the length of the room and with a broken prop. Another word of warning...rooms at Breakout are NOT created equal. I would steer clear of most.

If you are at all a Monopoly fan, go do this room! It felt so nostalgic and fun.. they did an excellent job of including Monopoly jokes while also making it fun for everyone in general. Lots of unique "mini games," Easter eggs, and silliness. My husband and I were giggling so much! Go check this out. ☺️

Several very physical puzzles... We were working up a sweat at one point!
Not. There are some physical puzzles that would be very challenging for those with mobility issues.

Another successful partnership between Breakout and Milton Bradley. Very fun, but Clue is still our favorite! Clever adaptation from the game into a playable story. Nice combination of linear and funnel elements. Abbey (sp) was friendly and helpful.

A really fun official Monopoly room that we got to play at Breakout Games’ 1st location in Lexington, KY! As a big fan of board games and having grown up extensively with Monopoly, I enjoyed all the references, props, and puzzles themed after the game. The end is particularly fun, and I enjoyed the riddles directly related to Monopoly. There’s also a neat built-in hint system. It’s definitely easier and good for families, though one puzzle was kind of jank for us. Not sure if it’s supposed to be a janky controlled game or if the power outage affected it, but that was the only one we really disliked. Recommend this Hasbro collab game! So if you’re Just Visiting, pass Go, Collect $200, and take a Chance on Monopoly!

Maybe? Railroad controls were janky, but maybe they’re supposed to be like that. GM helped us through it.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! A true standout for Breakout games. The set design, the music, the puzzles are so much fun plus it's the first room I've ever played with no clues whatsoever and that's quite satisfying! Easy doesn't mean boring! I hope Breakout continues collaborating with Hasbro, because their best rooms are with them!
