This game was awesome. Great theme and very well executed. Loved the puzzles and the overall mission. Highly recommend.

Overall, this game is a lot of fun! Cool high-tech take on the classic time travel theme with a good variety of puzzles. I have a few nit-picky moments I didn’t love, but they were overshadowed by the immersive fun of the room. Unfortunately, I can’t imagine giving a “heart” to any game at TEG simply because of their booking system. This room is too small for the amount of people they shove into it. The price is way too high, especially for a public booking system. I only played this room today because it was a friend’s birthday party. It’s the only local company I haven’t played before simply because I don’t like playing with 5* strangers in a tiny room.

They cram too many people in this room… the public booking system needs to be changed to allow for smaller groups without it costing so much.

Okay room, but the area of the room is incredibly small. It was very crowded with our group of 8, which resulted in a lot of people standing around while others were working on puzzles. This would be okay if it was a private room, but we were matched with another group of 4 and it just completely ruined the experience.

Another great room from TEG. Fun, clear puzzles but game is overall on the smaller side.

As with all rooms at The Escape Game, the set was great. I really enjoyed several of the puzzles, but overall, this room just missed the mark for me. It doesn’t deserve a thumbs down, but it really was just “meh” for me. The physical puzzles were fun, but the others where you interact with a computer screen are not fun for me. It was okay, but I like so many rooms at this company much better.

This was my husband and I's first time playing a room at The Escape Game and it did not disappoint! This escape room was quirky, full of character, and legitimately fun! You also get a personalized prop that you keep as a souvenir whether you escape or not. This room is easily doable with 2 people but I don't recommend it for complete beginners as it has some unique and cleverly difficult puzzles that might stump newcomers. My husband and I have each done about 20 escape rooms and opted to do this one with just the two of us as it is ranked amongst the easiest at this location. We escaped with about 18 minutes to spare and had a blast the entire time. We used 2 hints as we did hit a couple of points where we couldn't see how to proceed but our GM, CJ, was quick, attentive, and a wiz at providing solid clues. Overall, this room is a great intro to this company for escape room enthusiasts and has several time travel easter eggs from various movies and tv shows that are fun to catch. At the end of the room, CJ pointed out the ones we had missed, further adding to our amusement and love of this room. Can't wait to do the rest! For those who want to do the rooms in order of difficulty, we would rank this experience as harder than Gold Rush but easier than The Depths.
There were several unique aspects in this room and it flowed quite well despite the concept of jumping around the timeline.
The props, design, and special effects were perfect for the theme and story of this room. It did a great job of keeping our attention and making great use of the space.
CJ was an amazing GM and the staff in general was super sweet and welcoming. All were clearly escape room enthusiasts and had done all of their own escape rooms so they knew what to watch each team for. The humor, hints, and even photos taken were great and I would love to have CJ again as a DM for future rooms.

There were so many unique aspects to this room that I can't point them all out! Everything from the concept to the puzzles were unique and a couple even gave us a good jumpscare. We've done 20+ escape rooms and this one had many types of puzzles we had never come across. This is awesome as it keeps it interesting and challenging for experienced players while still keeping it fun for newer players.
Unique and memorable. They don't focus too much on any one timeline and do a great job tying every prop and puzzle to the story.
Medium
This room isn't overly difficult but definitely had a few puzzles that can stump even experienced players if they aren't extremely observant.
High tech
This room is very much high tech with a few word or number locks thrown in the mix. The use of tech through out was fun and well done as everything functioned as it was supposed to and had us laughing at several points. There is one particular mechanical "puzzle" that takes some skill. All I have to say about it is to treat it a bit like foosball table and you'll breeze through it!

Super doable with 2 people and I would recommend doing it with no more than 4 as the rooms for this experience are a bit smaller and can be cramped if you have too many players.
Not scary
There is a jumpscare or two depending on how you react to certain textures.

While there are some puzzles that require a clever or logical mind, kids can definitely enjoy this room with the help of a smart parent, guardian, or teammate.

The room was a bit hot due to our weather and a portable AC unit was placed in the room to account for this. The unit kept the door from closing all the way and was a bit loud if used (you are given the option). It didn't detract from the room or experience at all for us and I don't fault the staff at all as they are ensuring their players stay cool and comfortable during what is definitely a hot summer.

There are points where you have to pull on ropes, toss objects, and kneel down on the ground to see certain clues or get to objects that are set in place. This room also keeps you moving throughout the experience so be prepared to stay active.
The first compartment can be a bit cramped for those with mobility issues and there are points during which you have to crouch down or throw stuff. Those with color blindness might also have some difficulty as there are a couple of color related puzzles.

You will have to pay for parking. I recommend following the directions on their site as they provide 3 separate parking garages that are all affordable ($10 and under) and are within a 5 minute walk.

Fun and innovative. Had a technical issue that was caught quickly by the GM and fixed. Had one experienced escape artist and 3 rookies and still nailed it!

We really enjoyed this room! The decorations, theme, and puzzles were all fun. This was my 26th room (21W, 5L) and I played with two other adults with similar statistics. We had to ask for one hint so I'd rate it as medium to hard difficulty (similar to Depth but easier than Gold Rush, IMO).
I liked the theme, the decorations were awesome, the puzzles were fun, and we escaped - what's better than that?
The props were beautiful and everything was in working condition. The theme was very immersive.
Our GM was very nice and suggested a few rooms up in Irvine that we might enjoy.

Some of the puzzles were funny.
I like the time travel theme!

We had to ask for one hint so I think this was between medium & hard difficulty. We played with only three adults so it was easier than Prison Break & Special Ops, but I thought it was slightly easier than Gold Rush (which we did escape with hints) & similar to The Depths (which we didn't escape in time).
High tech
There are mechanical aspects, but slightly more tech, I think?
