Maybe we were just having an off day, or didn't have the right number of people, but this was our least favorite of the ones we did over a Columbus weekend. While the production quality was high and immersive, the puzzles themselves didn't sit well with us.
The puzzles didn't seem consistently fair (e.g. something changing out of sight and nobody was looking at it, or things that were just physically hard to see for older eyes), or had some light brute-forcing explicitly built into it. The pressuring into (very light) roleplay also had a little friction for our introverted group, but another group might really dig it.
This was overall a highlight. Clearly a ton of work and love has gone into the set design here. The "no hands over this explicit line on the wall" was pretty artificial, though. A couple thematic mechanics were involved that were neat and novel.
The GM leaned into the context and atmosphere of the room well, and he also spoon-fed us around some of the rough patches.

The gameplay was amazing and the puzzles were very unique! The owner of the business was our game master for the room and he did a wonderful job immersing us into the world of the game. He was able to explain the boundaries of the game (such as the off limit areas) in a way that didn’t distract from the world he was building. The mechanics and surrounding props in the escape were in excellent condition. Outside of the provided clues, you didn’t need any outside knowledge to solve the puzzles. This room was a 10/10 for us and we will definitely be visiting their other location when we get the chance!

The Bootlegger's Lair features a fantastic, classic design with a completely different style of unique puzzles. We had a blast! I played with my partner and we got to play both of the rooms back to back, we thoroughly enjoyed the stories, set, and really cool puzzles! Our GM helped us with lots of small nudges, and walked us through some puzzles when we were getting really close on time.
Literally best GM ever, such a fun ‘intro’ that is a great break from the typical spiel.

Awesome experience starting before entering the room itself. Some puzzles were new and inventive for us as we had not encountered them before. Story throughout felt very immersive. Excited to come back and try their next room.

We had such a great time solving the puzzles. The room was well thought out and challenging but not frustrating. We loved the historical aspect as well. Can’t wait to try their other adventure.

I brought my husband here for his birthday and our experience was outstanding. The puzzles were challenging, but not to the point of frustration. I love that the theme is tied to a historic figure. We look forward to visiting when the next room opens this fall!

The host was in character as soon as he greeted us and didn’t break character until we finished. The room theming was great.

My husband and I fully loved this game. The passion that the game creator has for escape rooms came through in this room. It’s not unnecessarily hard and the theme is well incorporated. The puzzles are novel and interesting with lots of neat tech and no busy work or scavenger hunt type mechanics. I also appreciate that it didn’t rely on darkness to make things more difficult. Also it’s in a great location. We had a great time.
