The room was really well themed and entertaining. Some smart puzzles and more immersive than some of their other rooms.

Overall fantastic production value. The room was extremely high tech with very few padlocks. The room was extremely cool with a few animatronics that added highly to the experience. The game itself was pretty good. We found that for a majority of the puzzles, there was not really a reason for doing it more just doing it, which some of us don’t love. Based on the other rooms we were expecting to find more rooms opening but that didn’t take away from the game. Being a huge group we really enjoyed the non linear aspects of the game because it really allowed all of us to work on different projects and not breathing down each other’s necks!

Rating: 4.5/5 - Fantastic room, a must-play for Jurassic Park fans Pros: ➕Set looks AMAZING, so much detail and quality, they utilized the vertical space so well. The set would fit right in at Universal Studios, they clearly copied some visuals from the theme park. ➕Every object, prop, and puzzle fit the theme, Jurassic Park fans will love this. ➕Multiple animatronics ➕Almost everything was tech-based, only 1-2 padlocks but they were used somewhere that makes sense to have a padlock. ➕Great variety of puzzles from logic to physical interactions ➕More than 1 room to explore ➕Some cool reveals ➕Some fun task-based puzzles involving the dinos ➕Very non-linear so the team can divide and conquer ➕Room was sufficiently lit with great use of dramatic lighting, flashlights not needed Room for improvement: ➖The storyline was hard to hear and follow, it could've been more cohesive. ➖One of the most climactic moments was during the middle of the room, not at the end. ➖A couple puzzles were not the most intuitive. ➖A handheld radio was required to communicate with the GM. ➖There is significant sound leakage from things going on outside the room. I'd recommend 4 enthusiasts. If you don't like Jurassic Park, you may not enjoy this room anywhere near as much as I did. UPDATE: My ranking of the rooms I've played here, starting with my favorite: 1. Jurassic Escape 2. Mafia Heist 3. Vampires 4. Storm Surge 5. What Happened in Vegas? 6. Locked-Up Supermax

Great Jurassic Park themed room. Some of the tasks we had to complete were very fun and cool. The set was very very good. The puzzles were okay. I will say that this seems like an upgraded version of another Jurassic Park themed room I’ve done. A couple puzzles were extremely similar, but it was different enough to feel that I got my money’s worth. Would definitely recommend!

Ugh. We really wanted to love this room. The production value was awesome. But the escape itself was not good. It was so disappointing. The puzzles to solve were all over the place. One of the logic puzzles is written in a way that actually makes it unsolvable. The mafia room here is sooo good and we had such high expectations. But the new rooms— Vegas and now this— are both highly disappointing. Storm surge was way better than this.

Mind Trap always has extremely impressive production design, but the last two rooms I did here left my frustrated due to puzzle designs that were unintuitive and just not fun to do. I feel like their Jurassic room goes back to pairing their extremely strong sets with good puzzles. We only missed one thing, but even the stuff we solved on our own still felt clever. This room isn't as over the top as some of their others, but it has some really cool moments. Overall, I would put this into the same category as their Mafia and Vampire rooms.

Weeks before doing this room, we did an official Jurassic Park escape experience at Universal Studios, and that one was terrible. Luckily, life found a way to bring us this phenomenal game from Mind Trap! This might actually be my favorite dino room I’ve ever played. Stunning animatronics, props, lighting effects, and cinematic moments. The puzzles are all great and pay tribute to the movies that clearly inspired it. It shouldn’t be too hard for most groups. We had almost 9 minutes to spare as an undersized group of 2 and only a few hints. Also, don’t worry too much if the high scare factor is a turn off, it’s not scary unless you hate dinosaurs or are very young. We played it for my partner’s birthday, and she loved it. They even gave her a special present! Don’t be preoccupied with whether you could play this awesome room, stop and think that you should!
Thank you for the birthday gift!

There was one prop that we were supposed to receive that we didn’t get. The GM quickly jumped into the room and handed us what we needed.
