Rating: 4.5/5 - Fantastic room, a must-play for Jurassic Park fans
Pros:
➕Set looks AMAZING, so much detail and quality, they utilized the vertical space so well. The set would fit right in at Universal Studios, they clearly copied some visuals from the theme park.
➕Every object, prop, and puzzle fit the theme, Jurassic Park fans will love this.
➕Multiple animatronics
➕Almost everything was tech-based, only 1-2 padlocks but they were used somewhere that makes sense to have a padlock.
➕Great variety of puzzles from logic to physical interactions
➕More than 1 room to explore
➕Some cool reveals
➕Some fun task-based puzzles involving the dinos
➕Very non-linear so the team can divide and conquer
➕Room was sufficiently lit with great use of dramatic lighting, flashlights not needed
Room for improvement:
➖The storyline was hard to hear and follow, it could've been more cohesive.
➖One of the most climactic moments was during the middle of the room, not at the end.
➖A couple puzzles were not the most intuitive.
➖A handheld radio was required to communicate with the GM.
➖There is significant sound leakage from things going on outside the room.
I'd recommend 4 enthusiasts. If you don't like Jurassic Park, you may not enjoy this room anywhere near as much as I did.
