Murder! Murder most foul is afoot in Victoria. The year is 1928, prohibition is in full swing in the nearby United States, and savvy entrepreneurs have seized the opportunity to get in on the illegal trade of smuggling alcohol south of the border. One such business woman is Vicky Tems, owner of a popular curio shop and rumoured Rum Runner. Unfortunately, her growing business has hit a dead end with her untimely murder. Despite having no end of suspects, local investigators are stumped, so theyβve called in the services of the cleverest (and cheapest) Private Detectives of the time: YOU! Join us in the past to unravel the mystery and prove yourselves the greatest detectives of all time!

27 escape rooms
Overall, this escape room started strong with creative puzzles and an engaging storyline that kept us entertained. However, the experience got bogged down toward the end when solving the murder turned into a bit of a guessing game. With a tricky mechanism that required piecing together six exact elements, it became more about trial and error than clever deduction. While we appreciated the challenge, the finicky setup and lack of feedback left us cycling through solutions without much clarity. Itβs a fun room with great potential, but the finale could use some streamlining to keep the excitement going till the very end.
