What Lies Beneath

Great atmosphere with creative and unique puzzles. Well laid for a group to be able to all be working on things collaboratively. Would definitely recommend this and excited to see what they do next. Our group of five had a great time and left extremely happy with the experience.

Honestly this was the best escape room I've ever done, and I've easily done a solid dozen over the years. The ambiance was A+, the whole space was super immersive and really looked like what it supposed to without and suspension of disbelief required. Unlike most escape rooms, they didn't rely on the constant conceit that people randomly decided to leave tricks and puzzles and hidden combinations behind. All the puzzles were designed as if they were just incidentally complicated circumstances and required working out to make them work. I personally love that kind of puzzle, it's SO much more immersive than just some random hidden keycode that is for contrived reasons scattered around the room. The puzzles were clever and original, complicated without being arbitrarily complex. Everything fit together and made sense. I also can't stress enough how good everything looked. Everything looked real, not just like some puzzle nailed to a wall. A+. Very cool.

This is one of the most immersive rooms we've done. The puzzles felt like real problems in the environment that had to be resolved.

We really enjoyed this room! I've done a bunch, but it was only the second room my friend has played (first was earlier in the evening at another site). This was FAR superior, and a really enjoyable experience. A few new elements I haven't seen before, which is always fun. One thing I'll note -- There is a challenge that requires trial and error once you figure part of it out. That was a bit different for me, since usually there's a way to "logic" your way to an answer before just guessing. This isn't a criticism, just something that slowed us down, since we assumed we were still missing things we needed to find. Gamemaster was nice and gave appropriate hints as we needed/asked for them. They tend to allow more time to "work" when there isn't another group behind you (vs. pushing you along to beat 60 minutes). We ended up in the room longer than an hour, but we would have likely been faster with slightly earlier/quicker hints. Overall, the room was in great condition and we'd highly recommend it if you're in the Manchester area.

The moment you step into the lobby, you’re transported into another world. This room was a ton of fun, with clever puzzles, creative elements, and plenty to keep the group engaged and working. We also had the chance to chat with the owner and designer, Mike, whose passion for escape rooms clearly shines through in the experience he created.

we loved it! one of our favorites. it was so immersive and such a great game for the team. 10/10!

The immersion starts as soon as you walk into the lobby! The room was very immersive and thematic. Highly recommend check this place out.
