Shhh!

This was a super immersive room *BUT* if you are a scaredy cat (like myself), the room will feel suuuper creepy. Thankfully my partner was willing to do some puzzles I was too scared to do… all this to say, the puzzles/flow/environment was amazingly done, but it will require you to put your big girl/guy pants on!

This place had the best escape rooms I’ve ever played, and Logan was awesome! Played this game and Hide and Seek with 8 of my best friends, and it was the best thing ever :)

Very high quality game. Lots of good multi-layer puzzles & another one that made great use of the space! Thoroughly enjoyed.

Most escape room intro videos are kinda boring, but this one was really cool. It rooted the storyline in local lore, as well as set a spooky tone that would carry on throughout the entire experience. They should make similar videos for their other two rooms! Also, using a separate room specifically for onboarding is a smart move, since it removes the distraction of being inside the escape room itself. Shhh! was a sprawling, multilevel exploration that ranged from mildly unsettling to downright twisted. It was pretty hard too, so I’d recommend a group of 3-4 experienced enthusiasts. Set design was top notch, convincing, and super creepy, and I was genuinely frightened during certain portions. I feel like the puzzles were more search heavy than the average escape room, and a particular dexterity task was especially memorable. If you’re a taller individual, watch yourself on the upper level! I whacked my head pretty badly at one point. This room is a prequel to the other two rooms at Escape Warehouse, but you won’t notice unless you pay VERY close attention. We didn’t pick up on it, but our GM explained the connection to us. It should be much more apparent, as this is a huge missed opportunity for world building. I’ll just post this non-spoilery teaser pic

Rating: 4.5/5 - Great set and puzzles, worthy of the 90 min runtime Pros: ➕ Set kept going and going, so many rooms. ➕ Great theming/set quality/immersion, it really felt like an old, creepy school with lots of little details. ➕ Love a little bit of nostalgia ➕ Puzzles were fun, there was a nice variety, and things were well integrated into the set. ➕ Good use of multiple floors and vertical space. ➕ Lots of tech with some mechanical locks mixed in. ➕ Some puzzles require teamwork/communication. ➕ Lighting and audio effects added to the immersion ➕ Interesting storyline that loosely ties in with their other rooms, the ending of the room was satisfying enough. ➕ Some tense moments with minor jump scares. ➕ GM was friendly and great to talk to, though we didn't need much help during the game. Room for improvement: ➖ I think scary rooms are almost always better when there is an actor to ramp up the tension and scares. This personally wasn't that scary for me, but it definitely would be scary for many other players. We played as a team of 4 enthusiasts and finished with well over 10 min left and little to no hints, it is not a difficult room, I'd recommend 3-4 players. My ranking of all 3 rooms here so far: 1. A new favorite for our group. We have seen more extravagant rooms with bigger/more extreme spaces but we genuinely felt like this room was good from start to finish with all 5 of us staying involved the whole time.

Just do it. You’ll thank us later.

Love it love love it! My friend was very very jumpy but honestly I would love to have had it scarier. Very fun to play very immersive.
