This room was played by President Barack Obama and his family in December 2016. He and his family successfully escaped with 13 seconds remaining! Because he was successful in 59:47, your goal is to finish in less time that President Obama and his family. Are you smarter than the President?

Enjoyed this room themed around a marketplace. There are references to both Hawaii and China (it actually helps to know some Chinese (or even Japanese like we do). There is no reference to President Barack Obama despite the name. It seems the name is just used because Obama played this room. BTW we beat his time of 59:47 haha! My biggest complaints about this room are there are locks all over the place. There are entire office cabinets of several locks each. Many of them similar locks. It’s crazy coconuts. The spacing is weird too. There’s a large open somewhat empty marketplace and then this super tiny room that only one (smaller) person will fit in. And yet there are like 5-10 puzzles in that tiny, tiny room. It’s very strange. Fun, though super complicated, final puzzle. Probably one of the rooms I enjoyed most at Breakout Waikiki. Are you a bad enough dude to save the president?

Ok let’s start with the fact that this room isn’t really about Obama but that he did this room with his daughters. Cool in itself. The room was good. Looked basic but had so much to do. We did it with 4 people and thought that was perfect to keep everyone involved. Staff was great and helpful.
