Rating: 3/5 - Average, but somewhat enjoyable. Very mechanical, almost no tech.
Pros:
➕Good set with a lot of props, everything was weathered and felt gross which fits the theme
➕Multiple areas to explore and definitely felt like a morgue
➕Appropriately creepy/spooky (only 1 minor startle)
➕GM was friendly and helpful when needed
Could be better:
➖Initial puzzles felt very unintuitive but the rest of the room flowed well enough
➖Puzzles were just OK, many were maybe a bit too basic and not creative
➖They're old school and require you to lock up your phone and don't allow unlimited hints or nudges. They take themselves a bit too seriously and don't seem to value having fun like most other escape rooms nowadays.
Cons:
➖Almost all padlocks and no tech, only a single electronic lock and an off-the-shelf electronic device.
Room isn't difficult for enthusiasts, I'd recommend 2-3 players, not more than 4.
UPDATE: My ranking of Rugged Xscape rooms I've played, however I don't really recommend any room here, I enjoyed my time a lot more at Mission Breakout Lafayette.
