Cleveland detectives have learned of a speakeasy fronting as a barbershop run Al Capone and his Underboss Don Vincenzo, and are willing to go undercover to find the evidence they need to shut it down for good. Escape Room Coventry's Al Capone's Speakeasy was great! Better than I was expecting. Solid puzzling, and multilinear. A bit worn in places but still serviceable. Some clever aha! Moments and cool reveals. A very fun late game puzzle and very memorable time was had by all. We did have one tech issue that was a bit frustrating, but otherwise a smooth game.

61 escape rooms
We did not escape this room with a party of 2 and probably needed at least another 10-15 minutes, despite being experienced escape room players. I was impressed with the room’s unique puzzles but it was quite linear so I don’t think having more people would have helped us get through the room faster. There were also elements of the puzzles that I think were not implemented correctly so we needed clues to interpret them. Lastly, our GM was not responsive at all and waiting for clues to show up on the screen probably cost us 10 minutes alone.

Fun room with some unique elements you don’t often get in an escape room.

We were one of the early groups to do this room (way behind on reviewing it!) and we had a good time. The decor of the room was simple but still fun and we enjoyed the puzzles a lot.

Our team of two relied on several clues to maintain pace. There was a mechanical issues w one puzzle but the game master paused the time to help us.

Our game master was one of the best we've had. He really made our experience a memorable one. The room was fun, and challenging, with good reveals and exciting puzzles.
