As horror noobs, we chose to play this in Tension Mode, and I am happy we did. The tension was high, but knowing there were limits to the interactions made it feel safer A great atmosphere, fun puzzles and good interactions! A huge part of what made it great was the fantastic job our GM did. The only downside for us was that it was hard to hear instructions and story beats through the walkie-talkie, which sadly took us a bit out of the setting and mood. Other than that, it wad a lot of fun, and another one I’m happy we included on our Spain trip!

EPIC. One of the highlights of Barcelona with the some of the most memorable actor interactions. Play Awaken first if you want to play both, but whatever you do, don't miss this game! Sidenote: this has the best Easter Eggs to the other game that I've ever seen in an escape room - learning how they both play together makes the full two-game experience that much stronger.

The room has three option of game modes: adventure, tension, and terror. We did a mix of terror and tension (asked the game master to not make it too terror and he was great in spontaneously adjusting to our individual scare tolerance). Apparently in the adventure mode the puzzles are harder and there are more of them compared to the other two modes which was noticeable as there were things in the room that were clearly there as part of puzzles but we didn’t need them (which was a bit confusing in the beginning). But nevertheless a great setting and good story.
