This is a solid room with an interesting theme, although the story wasnβt entirely clear. It was witches vs. vampires and you have to complete some magical rituals to obtain the sacred super duper stake of power that is able to finish off the boss vampire. Why exactly the super duper stake of power didnβt get used in the first place, your guess is as good as mine, but hey, thereβs puzzles to solve. The room is nonlinear for most of the gameplay, but the puzzles are clearly indicated so you know which one you are working on. The set is good, with plenty of hidden reveals. We enjoyed the game. Recommended.

Mix of old padlocks and high tech, which makes sense for the story. Things that happen βmagicallyβ are high tech, and ancient chests open with vintage padlocks.
4
Doable with 2 but most puzzles are solvable in parallel so 3-4 would not be a problem. With 1-2 you need to be quick to get through everything.
Spooky
Ancient witches and vampires, talk of sacrifices and dark magic, but no actual blood or gore.

This is a very interesting and fun company. We completed this room and the dig. Both are fun and interesting. I would recommend either of those 2 rooms.

Great room! Perfect challenge for 2 experienced people, mostly non-linear with great puzzles!

Overall I would rate this a must play for sure! All the things you want in an escape room this room provides. As some of the others mentioned before, it isn't to 13th Gate level but that is a tall ask for many escape rooms. We all love the big production games but my wife and I can appreciate how hard escape rooms work to delivery the very best! This room hit all the marks for us and the staff and live actor gm made the experience top notch. If you're in Georgia definetly make sure to play WitchHunter worth the trip!
As an experienced player I prefer semi-linear or non-linear games. My wife also prefers the same style of game as well. We both found this room to be exactly that. The puzzle flow allows you to work on multiple challenges and tasks at the same time. There are moments where it because linear to advance you forward but then it gives you the freedom to split up again. Overall we enjoyed the puzzles through out the adventure!
They did a great job on the set design and atmosphere in this theme as you can see in the photos.
Man, this was the highlight of the visit. We have been to many escape rooms and we typically just want to start the room and get going on puzzles. Save me the boring debrief etc but man these guys go all out. They do a quick live actor preshow in the theme of a character, like completely in costume an everything. Got both my wife and I laughing and smiling instantly. That's where they won high praise in our book! That ultimately took it from what would have been already a great experience for us to a memorable one!

It was a great game, we thoroughly enjoyed this one!
Story was pretty good, we clearly understood why we were there and what our objective was. Props and elements complimented our experience as well.
Hard
We got pushed to our limits in this room but ultimately got out with only a few minutes left on the clock. We used 2 clues to help us escape! I would definetly recommend this for experienced players.
High tech
Plenty of secert compartments and things that surprised us. Definitely what you want to see in more immersive rooms!

It was just my wife and I, a few more of our friends would have been nice to have but totally doable with two people. I would say 6 tops is all you need.
Spooky
It was spooky not scary but we enjoyed that, matched the theme of the story very well.

No everything worked perfectly and looked maintenanced and taken care of.
Yes
Not during the game itself but just before they bring you into the room.
Somewhat
Only one part I would say, there is a moment you need to crawl.
Would not accommodate a wheel chair due to multi levels and stairs.

I echo everything in Jessy's review. I wish I had known before playing it that it was almost identical to Spellbound at 13th Gate Escape. If you've never been to 13th Gate and don't plan to go anytime soon I would definitely suggest playing this room. Awesome atmosphere, great puzzles, very enjoyable gameplay and unique storyline. Great caliber room for the Atlanta area.

Nonlinear and tons of puzzles and peices! No one's ever bored with so much going on! I recommend a big group! This is a HARD room. If you're considering this room for your very first escape room - hit Detention first! It's designed to show you the ropes of escaping! Then try Pirate Bay. This game is much better for a big group because there are sooo many puzzles to do simultaneously!

This room is licensed. We also played it at 13th Gate as "Spellbound". That version is better (first act is more spacious and vegetative, lighting is nicer, and most importantly, the hint system is a cat) and you should play it instead, but if you're not going to, this is still a very good implementation.

AWESOME theme and story. I love the vampire/witch stuff and this was soooo well done. It was very immersive and there was always something for everyone to be doing. The set design was integrated so well that you didnβt know what or where openings were. I have zero negative things to say and I donβt want to give away any spoilers, so just go play it!!
