Very nice immersion in and leading up to the game, very nice set design, very good tech in this room with like 100 buttons in just this chapter alone, very unique concept with a planned intertwined 3 games in the same massive space. But runbook games like this can get boring (games where you’re doing a series of linear tasks listed on a guidebook that has all the information for each of those puzzles). It makes sense for the theme of repairing a spaceship, but it just gets so repetitive (and even with a group of 3 there were points where some of us had little to do, though this was less of an issue here than it was in other games like this we’ve played). The game does leave this runbook format at some point in a way that really fits the story of the game, and I hope this moment means that the future chapters will continue in this direction. I’m very excited for the future chapters. But this game did feel a bit unfulfilling by itself, so I would recommend playing this game once the remaining chapters are ready and play them all together.
