Very intense experience with a fantastic ending transition. Personally would have preferred a few more puzzles as it’s very puzzle light and some of the scares drag on but overall great experience.

The night of Halloween has come again. Another shift has come to an end for you and your colleagues. You hand over your gear at the service and head to the nearest Pub to enjoy your usual coffee, along with one of the best Donut in the town of Handonfield. "You are welcome to become main characters in a unique psychological thriller movie.

Hide N Seek by Brainiac Escape Rooms was the 3rd and last room of Day 4 and the 11th game of our Athens Escape Tour 2026, played with the same team of five. This game was the peak of adrenaline for the whole day. From start to finish it felt like a non-stop rush, clearly inspired by the Halloween franchise, with strong nods to the atmosphere surrounding Michael Myers. The title says it all, constantly keeping you alert and moving. The sound effects, lighting, and environment work together beautifully to bring you deep into that film world. The story also adds its own twist to the classic Halloween concept, which works very well within the experience and helps give the game its own identity. At one point the intensity actually gave me a slight headache from the adrenaline, though in a good way, similar to the feeling after riding many roller coasters one after another. This is definitely not a game for everyone, but for players who love thrills, tension, and being genuinely scared, you are absolutely in for a treat. This one ranks within the top 3 of the tour for me.

Outstanding style of game. Exactly as the title.
Brilliantly capturing Micheal Mayer’s films vibe.
Super nice and welcoming at the end.

From bringing to end, all sent unique and just like the movies.
Simple but as the movies are with a twist.
Hard
Due to the very high tension created.
High tech
Mainly because of the environmental effects.

Hide n Seek is set in a very authentic hospital setting, the kind you’d expect to find in the Netherlands. Maybe that’s exactly what makes the game so special for the Greeks, because otherwise I found it to be just average. But maybe my expectations were just different, or too high because of all the hype 🤷🏼♀️ The logic behind the puzzles wasn’t always clear to us, even with hints from the GM. Unfortunately, the tension dropped quickly because you figure out the concept fast and it stops being scary. For a Hide n Seek concept, there were also very few places to hide. The actors, who repeatedly perform short scenes to drive the story forward, do a really good job, though, and I especially liked the opening and the finale.

Very good, the spaces and props are so realistic and Michael Myers is true to the movie character. Didn't like the opening segment it was a bit uncomfortable, but the rest of the room is great

One of the most exhilarating rooms I have done. It had my adrenaline pumping for the majority of the experience. The ending was truly one of a kind and unlike anything I have seen before. If you love horror then this is the room for you.

I greatly appreciate the take on a Michael Myers inspired story. This became one of the standouts in Athens for story telling. An example of how to immerse guests into a story without making us read it. A very impactful finale that told us exactly how our story ended and in a very successful and showy way!

This was the scariest experience I’ve ever had! Very unpredictable at times. Visibility was hard sometimes, but seemed appropriate in some spots. This felt more like an “experience” rather than an escape room, and the puzzles were awkward at times, but still fun once we got there. The actors were amazing and I felt completely immersed the whole time. The ending is seriously 1 of a kind! Would definitely recommend!!! This room deserves its spot on TERPECA

Many games with incredible settings have weaknesses in their storylines. But not Hide n Seek. Finally, an authentic story that, despite its twists, remained completely logical and believable from start to finish. We went in with very high expectations, and yet they were still exceeded. The hype is completely justified, and all the praise it’s received is well-deserved.

Overhyped... A few illogical puzzles... Great scenes & cinematics but this was the only good part of the game

8/10 I do not understand the hype around this room nor it’s high ranking on TERPECA’s top 100. I’m giving this room an 8 simply for the outrageous production, lighting, effects, and sound design. As the name entailed, you will Hide and Michael Meyers will Seek. And it gets old FAST. This experience has so much potential but is completely tarnished by its illogical puzzles, slow pointless cut scenes, and poor room layout. The use of sound and lights makes it unbelievably confusing as when it’s time to hide or when there is a cinematic moment. Having played many hide and seek type of horror escape rooms, this one is my least favorite. If the point of your room is to hide, maybe give more places to hide than two areas? Like I said earlier, the concept loses its novelty fairly quickly. The story makes absolutely no sense. For some reason it’s in a hospital? And the finale, when we finished the room, I let out an audible “What?” From a production standpoint point, the lights, set design, and sounds are top notch. But that’s about all I can say positive from this room.
