Ongyi’s Dream

Very accessible for English-only tourists. The Korean style of escape rooms differs from the US—I visited one other Korean escape room which had the same puzzle layout. There is a linear sequence of numbered puzzles which are given to you in order, and the emphasis is much more on puzzle solving than finding clues. You solve many small puzzles (30 for this room) rather than fewer complex puzzles. Great for a team of 2-3; would not recommend for 4+ because I suspect people will end up standing around due to only one puzzle being accessible at a time.

Creative storyline, fun and adorable narrative and creative mechanics. Puzzles are on the simpler end but there's a lot of them (30 puzzles in 65minutes) which I think increases the difficulty. Personally, it's one I will remember for a long time because of how cute and unique both the storyline and mechanisms for puzzles were. Out of the three escape rooms done in korea, this one is by far my favorite, and it rests at the top as one of my favorites (that I have done) that I will happily recommend to my friends.

We weren't quite sure what to expect, given the lack of story available online, but what a pleasant suprise! The game follows such a lovely storyline- and yes, the audio is all in korean, but players are provided with a phone that provides translations of the audio elements. The puzzles and tasks are all well themed, clearly signposted and most importantly, enjoyable! Highly recommend 👌🏼

Cannot overstate how much I loved this!!! The whole thing kept me guessing what would happen, and I found myself saying ‘Wow!’ frequently throughout. English version was very well done and no issues understanding the narrative and puzzles. So fun!!!

Really cute room and great puzzles! We were a party of 2 playing and had a great time. We were originally worried because they do have to push you along if you're struggling but we managed to keep ahead.

Pretty darn good room for what you pay. Cute is what I’d describe the room from the story to the room design. Some really cool props and fun tech puzzles throughout. Definitely a must do room if you’re in the area. It’s English speaking accessible, so if you don’t speak Korean it’s okay. There is a puzzle though I thought was very clever that used the Korean alphabet. Definitely don’t be scared to use hints, the puzzles aren’t terribly hard but there are a lot. It felt like we were cruising at one point, but in reality we were only like 60% done with 20min left.

The room is very beautiful with a nice story to follow. It is difficult for 2 people to play, you can spend 2-3 minutes per puzzle, use hints,or you lose.

Story flowed really well with a classic story. Puzzles not too difficult but very interactive and fun to do!

We loved Ongyi’s Dream! Following a cat trying to join the Zodiac was very cute and a fun journey! The puzzles flowed nicely and each space was used well! There is a push forward and lock out to load another team in behind but we never felt rushed. The final sequence is very cute and made us chuckle!
