What a fun room! The game play and puzzles were so much fun! Again, the set was amazing! You step into a comical mad 's lab and all of the puzzles and game play give off what I can call a Pinky and the Brain vibe. We zipped through the room and finished with time to spare. This one would be fun to do with kids

I was let down by the first game I played here, but the discount was still available and we wanted to try a non-gimmick based game. Robo-Reboot was surprisingly enjoyable compared to my first experience with the company. The set is not stunning, but it’s functional and has many nice little touches that make it enjoyable to inhabit. The centerpiece was easily the coolest part and felt appropriately cartoonish and heightened. My main issue with the game was the inconsistency in the puzzle design. Several interactions, while standard, required interesting connections and were a blast to complete. One interaction in particular was really magical, even if the solution was ambiguous. On the other hand, a few puzzles were definitely underclued. One puzzle would require an instant pairing between the clue and the input that I just don’t see happening easily, considering the red herrings embedded in the prop. Another felt broken and janky, and I’m still not really sure if we solved it correctly or if the gamemaster bypassed it for us. One puzzle has a clever solution, but it ends up feeling like a trick, especially considering how late in the game it is (I heard that it causes many teams to fail and I can’t help but feel this would be a discouraging way to lose). This is almost a good game, and was enjoyable enough, but it still leaves doubts that this particular location is not a cash grab.
