Master Chef Kobe has relocated his popular Kobe Sushi company to the heart of town. He desperately needs your help in finding all of his Aloha Gold shoyu packets. You have 50 minutes to do so before the restaurant opens for business. Apply your skills in trivia, puzzle solving, and treasure hunting to rank among the best. Where will you rank?

Oishii! A fun sushi restaurant themed room that is more focused on high score than escape. The goal is to collect as many Shoyu Packets (soy sauce) as possible in 50 minutes. There are a few puzzles, like probably only a handful of 2. You obtain the rest of them through light scavenger hunt, minigames, and ongoing trivia questions. There are many trivia questions, and unless you’re a Jeopardy! champion, you probably won’t get every single one. Either way, it’s padding, albeit fun padding. It helps to have more people for trivia knowledge, but there probably won’t be enough puzzles to satiate large groups. I enjoyed the sushi theme, Japanese music, puzzles where my knowledge of certain things helped, and the collection nature of the room. This room was pretty new when we visited Hawaii, though it’s also a revamped version of a room and location that had closed down. The GM told us that the theme may change in a few months. It’s a small room and the decorations, while cute, are sparse, so I can see them being to replace it easily. Kobe’s Sushi Co. is not gonna be what most people are looking for in an escape room. But if you don’t mind a laid-back soy sauce hunt, I’d recommend hanging loose and rolling into Room With a Clue!
