The abandoned Black Lake Church is notoriously haunted. 10 years ago, a group of famous YouTubers mysteriously disappeared after visiting the church to film a paranormal investigation video. The news shocked the world, and the church was quickly sealed off by the government. 10 years later, people have gradually forgotten about the incident, and the watch over the church has become less strict. You and your group of adventurous friends found the old records online and decided to sneak in tonight for an investigation of your own.

I enjoyed the experience. I did find some of the puzzles a little disjointed and one in particular didn’t work very well. Overall though it was an atmospheric and fun room
Gameplay was good, there was a couple puzzles that I found weren’t very good though
The atmosphere was fantastic, it’s a very thematic room with plenty of scares
Gm was great and staff were welcoming

Great room with solid puzzles and great use of space! I really enjoyed this one, the puzzles felt great to solve and I like when rooms force communication between players to proceed. Some of the puzzles are a little disjointed but not enough to derail the flow. The set is really well done as well and houses a crawl space as well. One small thing to improve for the space is just let people know that only one person needs to traverse it so the others don't have to because crawling back can be a bit strenuous and somewhat dangerous since there is only one light shared between your group and it is pitch black without it. Other than that, this is a fantastic room!

Overall, this escape room was great!! It was one of the shorter escape rooms I have done, with a smaller amount of puzzles than I’m used to. But the story and immersion made up for that.
Great puzzles, storyline was impressive and the puzzles were tied in well.
The sound effects, room effects and decor matched the theme and made the vibe more immersive

Great room. Love the room decoration and the scary video that made the room very atmospheric. The puzzles were great also and suit a less experienced team

The room is set up like a creepy church and has a variety of puzzles & lots of built in scares. I don’t personally find haunted churches scary, so I wasn’t scared but I imagine many people would be. I did appreciate the decorations and the novel tasks.

This room was the right level of spooky. I completed this with my eleven year old and it did help knowing there wasn’t any live actors. There is a unique travel space that I haven’t experienced in any other room. Theming was awesome and the use of sound effects was appropriate.

Great room that matched the theme. Quite physical which was a surprise but made for a great challenge and outcome.
Great room - really fun and theme was consistent with the puzzles. Very physical.
Room matched the theme. Special effects made for a fun room to complete.
GM was friendly and knowledgeable. Clues given were sufficient to progress without giving the puzzle away.

A few puzzles were quite difficult but made sense when complete. Hard but certainly not expert.

Room was pretty eerie ! Loved that Sara broke a decoration AHAH but yes! Defs a good crawlspace
Gameplay was well done! Very clear pathway and could be a little slow? The crawlspace was very fun to go under.
Very eerie! Meant to be a haunted church and I think they pulled that off well.
