The abandoned Black Lake Church is notoriously haunted. 10 years ago, a group of famous YouTubers mysteriously disappeared after visiting the church to film a paranormal investigation video. The news shocked the world, and the church was quickly sealed off by the government. 10 years later, people have gradually forgotten about the incident, and the watch over the church has become less strict. You and your group of adventurous friends found the old records online and decided to sneak in tonight for an investigation of your own.

Overall, this escape room was great!! It was one of the shorter escape rooms I have done, with a smaller amount of puzzles than I’m used to. But the story and immersion made up for that.
Gameplay
Great puzzles, storyline was impressive and the puzzles were tied in well.
Atmosphere
The sound effects, room effects and decor matched the theme and made the vibe more immersive

Nothing was broken but there is one part that is impossible to see without a torch which was not provided.

Great room. Love the room decoration and the scary video that made the room very atmospheric. The puzzles were great also and suit a less experienced team

The room is set up like a creepy church and has a variety of puzzles & lots of built in scares. I don’t personally find haunted churches scary, so I wasn’t scared but I imagine many people would be. I did appreciate the decorations and the novel tasks.

This room was the right level of spooky. I completed this with my eleven year old and it did help knowing there wasn’t any live actors. There is a unique travel space that I haven’t experienced in any other room. Theming was awesome and the use of sound effects was appropriate.

Great room that matched the theme. Quite physical which was a surprise but made for a great challenge and outcome.

Great room - really fun and theme was consistent with the puzzles. Very physical.

GM was friendly and knowledgeable. Clues given were sufficient to progress without giving the puzzle away.

Room was pretty eerie ! Loved that Sara broke a decoration AHAH but yes! Defs a good crawlspace

Gameplay was well done! Very clear pathway and could be a little slow? The crawlspace was very fun to go under.

Very eerie! Meant to be a haunted church and I think they pulled that off well.
