Today marks your best friend’s 21st birthday which, of course, is a cause for celebration. After playing the night away at various clubs around the city, you decide to call it a night and head home. You were all laughing and celebrating, telling stories of your evening, but now something is off…. You start to stumble. Your head is pounding…. The lights begin to fade, and you hit the ground. …You eventually awake, but where? It smells musty and damp, and the only thing you hear are dripping pipes in the distance. Nothing is visible. Now your life is on the line, and you fear time is not on your side. Can you escape before you meet your captor, or will you become one of The Forgotten…

Rating: 2/5 - Weird & creepy, single room game, tech issues soured my experience Pros: ➕One large, multi-step prop in the middle of the room was interesting to solve. ➕There was one interaction with the GM that was unique. ➕Some puzzles required teamwork. ➕A nice amount of tech with some physical locks mixed in. ➕The set looked appropriately creepy with some mood and spot lighting and ambient audio. ➕Most of the puzzles (with 1-2 exceptions) were decent and the solutions made sense. Cons: ➖This game is dark, no flashlights are provided and they don't allow phone flashlights. You can turn on some additional lighting part way through, but then our game had a tech issue where the lights turned off and wouldn't turn back on. The GM didn't tell us they were actually supposed to be on until after the game ended, so we needlessly struggled in the darkness. ➖The one handheld light (only used for a puzzle) we got barely worked and was flickering on and off. ➖One cool tech puzzle was broken and non-functional, the GM warned us beforehand to ignore it. ➖I'm not a fan of single room games since you never get to discover new areas. ➖One dexterity puzzle is a bit difficult and unintuitive, I'm not sure how we'd know what to do without a hint. ➖There are too many keys and locks including padlocks that aren't even part of the game. ➖Only 4 hints allowed when the standard now at most companies is unlimited hints. The room is creepy and there are jump scares. I recommend 3-4 enthusiasts, you can play it as a team of 2 like we did but I don't really recommend it. We did escape with barely any time remaining and used a few hints. There is no crawling or climbing. My ranking of the rooms I've played here starting with my favorite, assuming you have a good GM, no technical issues, and a properly reset room (which can be a problem here): 1. Missile Crisis 2. Experimental Hughes (a bad GM ruined our experience, but I'm ignoring that for the ranking) 3. Vault Heist 4. The Forgotten (ignoring the tech issues we had) 5. Capone's 21 Club
