Only Murders in the Building [Season 4]

A fun variation of their heist game that is a lot better than the heist game. I don't think it has anything that great about it, but the puzzles are solid in my opinion. Honestly my biggest gripe is that the story with the puzzles makes absolutely no sense, but that is true for like all of the Escape Game games.

Having never seen the show this room is based around - I loved this room! The aesthetic was pleasing and the puzzles were multi-layered and satisfying to solve. After the room I came to the conclusion that The Escape Game have the perfect rooms that combine the old lock and key puzzles of earlier escape rooms with the newest technology that’s driving them forward. Though there were a lot of locks and codes, there were just as many mag-locks and sensors. The old-school-meets-new-school theme of it all paired nicely with the Selena Gomez and Steve Martin title.

Room was pretty standard with some confusing puzzles that were a bit too ambiguous. There was no AC or airflow in the room which make it a bit uncomfortable - even when asked if they could turn on a fan, they said there was none.

Outstanding adaptation of a tv show into an escape room. Went with one friend and played with a crew of five we'd never met (and it was their very first time doing an escape room!). I happen to be a fan of having the games be public. Results may vary! This group was A++ excellent. For sure, this game is highly enjoyable—high production value, creative puzzles, good flow, and so on. One of the first big puzzles to present itself was tricky as hell. I'm a fan of the show but most of the other players in my group were not familiar with the show, and it didn't affect the playing experience for them one bit. For viewers like myself, there were plenty of cool easter eggs from the show.

Only downfall at this company the rooms are not private. So if you don't fill all the 8 spots you will be joined by another random group. Even though the rooms can easily be done by 4 or less people. The game itself was very exciting.

This was a lot of fun. Some of the puzzles were better than others. You need not have seen the show to play, but it definitely made the experience more fun!

Finished with just a minute left. I absolutely loved this room and thought it had a unique component to it. This is lock and key heavy which some people don’t like but as someone getting into escape rooms, I still love it! The puzzles were fun and there was a lot to solve- something for everyone to do in the group. You don’t need to know the show to do it but I heard theres like a small clue that might’ve helped but without it, we did just as fine. Def recommend!

This room was very well themed. I had never seen the show but my group had and they loved it. I would say if you have done the heist by the escape game it’s a similar set up but leveled up.

This company does not disappoint! loved the changes from the heist and impressed with the puzzles. Very fun room. Awesome set design.
