Legacy of the Dragon

We decided to try this escape room after discovering it on the Morty app and chose this specific room based on its strong reviews and 🥇 ranking. The room is rated as “hard,” and we attempted it with just two people. I will say, it was a nice bonus that there was no additional charge for a smaller group, especially on a weekend. The gameplay itself was very linear. While that can be enjoyable, it became a bit frustrating due to the clue system. Clues could only be requested when “permission” was given, so if you got stuck before that point, you were essentially losing valuable time waiting. Without giving anything away, the room featured a variety of puzzle types, which kept things interesting. It definitely adds to the challenge with only two people, but it’s still very doable. In terms of hints, most of ours simply redirected us to items we had already discovered but needed to revisit or interpret differently. We were also told that clues for this room are sometimes automated, which may mean a game master isn’t actively monitoring your progress at all times. Additionally, having access to a pen and paper for note-taking would have been extremely helpful. It sounds like this has been considered, but it would be a great addition. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this room. There are just a few adjustments that could make it even better. That said, the audio-visual elements were outstanding—easily a 10/10. 👏 ***the frustration for the clue system and recommendation for pen and paper is more in the context of having only 2 people. The way it’s currently set up and ran would probably have been quicker and more doobale with more people

Awesome! Really great, novel puzzles and a good set design. Amazing use of light and audio to tell the story and guide through the experience.

Our time playing the Legacy of the Dragon was amazing. The use of lighting and sounds was extremely well executed to help guide the players and indicate different stages of the experience. This had a great mixture of searching and discovery for puzzle elements; memory and solving for the riddles; and a progression of a story as you solve through the rooms. The only drawback was the lack of a notepad or similar tool as there is alot of items to memorize. The best part of the experience was the environmental designs of each space and the use of technology and lighting.

IT WAS AMAZING!! The tech was so cool, I had no idea you could be so creative with lights and sound! I loved the twist at the end! Definitely ring more than two people, there is a lot to do! I can’t wait to do more escape rooms at this location!

This may be the best room I’ve ever played! Epic use of light and sound design! Great attention to detail.

One of my favorite rooms of all time and the best at Tick Tock. The space and atmosphere are incredible. There were some puzzles made with tech that I didn’t even know was possible.

This is my 3rd favorite room I’ve done so far, but there were some annoying elements also. Do yourself a favor and bring your own notepad and pencil since they don’t provide them in this room and they are absolutely needed.

Really fun room with a ton of fun puzzles! Scenic was great as well.

This room is easily one of my favorites at this location now. Booked this for just two people, and I severely underestimated the size and difficulty. Escaped with mere minutes of time, as being just two people there was A LOT to unpack and do in this room. Kept us entertained the full hour (although a few stress points 😬) it was still fun nonetheless!
