If you go in with the right expectations, this is an incredibly well done, immersive adventure that really makes you feel like a secret agent. That being said, it is NOT difficult. The puzzles are not challenging to figure out, and if you want something puzzle focused, go somewhere else. 5 Wits tends to get a lot of negative feedback because people don’t understand that its primary goal is to provide an immersive experience rather than a real puzzly challenge to groups, and there is some challenge in here for sure, but you don’t go for the puzzles. 5 Wits may not have challenging gameplay, but if you want a masterclass in escape room storytelling and immersion, check them out. Their theming is incredible and there is actual plot, something you rarely see in escape rooms these days. There’s something really special here.

it was fast paced and action-packed, more heart thumping than what I usually play. it was on the short side, and it was disappointing to hear we had "unlocked two secrets" but not have the staff person be able to tell us what secrets we unlocked. I have a feeling that the "secrets" and the scoring system were just part of an automated rubric, and my experience of this short adventure would have been improved by knowing what things we found or what bonuses we tripped. all in all it was a fun time and I'm not sad I did it.

Not our favorite experience -- One of the challenges seemed to have a bit of a glitch, and the lack of having a real "game master" wasn't something we really liked, especially when info seemed necessary due to hiccups. Overall it was entertaining, but we prefer "regular" escape room experiences, it seems.

This was an okay game. For us, it was comparable to Tomb. We enjoyed Drago's Castle and Deep Space more. Five Wits is an escape room-like experience. They say you have 30-45 to get through the 3 rooms of each game. Our team of two finished most of the games in under 30 minutes. These games are much more task-based than puzzle-based, and each task is timed. There are no hints available. If you cannot complete a task/puzzle, it will eventually time out and you will need to move on to the next task or room.
