Wow, such a unique and fun concept for a room. So many surprises along the way, and a great flow to the room. Plus, I love that they are actually very respectful to Japanese culture. There were a couple puzzles that had seen better days, but still seemed to function alright. Not to mention several things that I had never seen in an escape room before. There are some physical aspects to the room, so I would not recommend it for people with mobility issues. Other than that though, it was an awesome experience that I highly recommend!

A room focused on fun - puzzles are easy and cute, and you’ll have a good time if you just want to play around entertainingly without a real story. :)

Tao opens with one of the most entertaining pre-room sequences I've encountered, all anchored by a clever script and physical acting. For a few minutes, it feels like something special. Then the game starts....by talking. And doesn't really stop. The puzzles themselves are fine, and a couple of them introduce things I genuinely hadn't seen before in an escape room. But the experience is consistently undermined by a GM who has been given too much latitude to improvise, and who uses that latitude poorly. Some of the riffing just isn't funny. That's survivable. What isn't survivable is the pattern of extended, unsolicited explanation. The GM in the room seems to have been told to make sure he's always present (not hints, not nudges, but full narration of things we could already see and figure out ourselves). It transformed what should have been an exploratory experience into something closer to a guided tour. The first act is genuinely worth experiencing. The rest of the room is a lesson in how much a single facilitation choice can damage an otherwise solid design.

Now these are escape experiences, not just rooms. This was a comedy room that made us do loads of ridiculous things but had some great puzzles along the way and some real unique elements I’ve never seen in an escape room before. Very well done, superb hosting all the way through from Etienne who helped make it a very funny game. As long as you’re happy to play along this is real family friendly fun

Wow this was very fun! It’s a very different kind of escape room where you really have to use your body, not just your brain. Don’t expect lots of super difficult puzzles that’s not the point here. The experience is much more physical and interactive! You definitely need to be ready to step a little outside your comfort zone and just go for it. If you do, it’s a blast. We laughed a lot and had such a good time.

Tao was a great room! After all the horror of the trip, this one was a breath of fresh air. We were all smiles as we solved, jumped, and sang our way free of the massage parlor. Its unique theme and ability to not take itself too seriously makes for a fun experience, definitely not one to be missed. If you’re visiting Bite The Fly, absolutely play both!

One of the best rooms I have played (>100). Creative und very unique riddles and one awesome surprise that I have never seen before. Lots of wow and aha moments! Great setting and decoration, absolutely everything fits the theme!
