Midnight Manor

Nice gimmick that i normally find badly done or lazy but suprised me quite a lot, especially towards the end!

Could be marked as Scary, cause there is a couple jump scares but other then that the ambiance is just spooky.

all game everything worked well but sadly a part of the last puzzle had a problem but it was quickly fixed/reset by the GM without it impacting our time/pace too much.

One of the rooms did not activate and we had to ask for a hint for the GM to fix it.

Cool that there’s a bit of a video game component where you’re a ghostbuster!

The high tech part was cool. Puzzles were a little time consuming but made sense

They do say this is their hardest room. We haven’t played any of the others but in my opinion it was more time consuming than hard. We didn’t ask for many hints things made sense

The items in the room provide clues and they are super helpful

It’s ghostbusting, there’s some creepy eerie feelings, and you’re shooting ghosts at some points, so looking at what’s coming next but nothing really scary. The jump scares are mostly subtle just watching for the next ghost. Except for one fairly big jump scare it’s not really scary

The only thing is that our last clue didn’t appear and the GM had to come in and tell us how to end the game

The shooting requires fast reactions

One of our members is deaf with hearing aids and they had subtitles in a lot of areas so it was accessible. But some of the lighting can affect the colours in certain areas
