The Witch's Curse

I finally got a chance to try The Witch's Curse at Exit! My friend and I booked a private room for 2 people at 1:30pm on a Wednesday ($90 total - $45/person). Ashley was our moderator, and she was so enthusiastic! This was the best experience I have had here, so they either upgraded their moderation systems, or Ashley is that amazing! I enjoyed our experience with The Witch's Curse. Everything made sense, and many of the puzzles tied into the theme. Like their other rooms, I like that they use a variety of puzzles, not just locks everywhere. Exit does need to repair their rooms, as they definitely show their age.

Very linear room wouldn’t have more than 4-5 in the room. Room theming was good but you can tell it has been well loved. Gamemaster was super friendly. Other rooms here are also well done. Recommendation for more newbies.

Pretty barebones room; decor and atmosphere were lacking. Puzzles were largely fine except one was broken due to two locks being switched by the employee resetting the room. Fine if you want to do every room in the nyc area, but there’s nothing special here. 2/5

Overall medium difficulty room. Nice play, linear flow. A couple of misses: one red herring, one very far-fetched puzzle that is tough to complete without a clue, and one puzzle that looked unnecessarily complicated. Overall nice experience but not the challenge level we were hoping for.
