Good game. Got stuck on things twice, other than that everything flowed well.

Arr, matey! Can you beat the sunset curse before it’s too late? Captain Goldbeard has spent years voyaging the seas in hopes of acquiring treasures beyond his wildest dreams. But one night, many moons ago, the Captain and his crew landed themselves in troubled water embarking on a quest where few others dare go, aboard an abandoned ship laden with treasure, known as ‘The Soul Catcher’. You only have one hour to break the curse before the sun sets beyond the horizon or you will be left prisoner aboard The Soul Catcher for eternity—and with no escape! Do you have what it takes to find the hidden treasure and beat the deadly sunset curse or will you become the next prisoner of The Soul Catcher?

This is one of my favorites from here, especially the pirates theme. The puzzles were fun and made sense, although it’s easy to get things mixed up with so much going on in one space. Again, a lot of free nudges, a lot of them validated we were doing it right. The set design is a lot better than most of their rooms.

Good room. Solid puzzles. High quality theming. Puzzles were much more mechanical in nature. Completed in a group of two with strong escape room experience. Probably ideal for 4+ normal players. My main critique was that we received a few unprompted hints that we didn’t ask for.

I did this with my niece and nephew who are 11 and 13, and my boyfriend and my sister and her husband it was super super fun. It was kind of hectic having that many people in there but either way we all enjoyed it and the puzzles were not too hard, but some of them were tricky and good enough to give us a challenge. I really loved the theme and it definitely was immersive.

Fun! Everything flowed really well

This was very fun and well designed, not very difficult but enjoyable.
The puzzles were fun and creative though not especially difficult.

One of the easier rooms I’ve done. Perfect for getting friends into escape rooms since the puzzles are not too difficult. Did this room on a whim cuz we were bored at home, so it was great for us to keep us entertained.

Very mixed experience here. Very good production design in this room, and the puzzles were mostly solid. Problem was, we completed this room without solving at least three (and perhaps more) puzzles. Felt like GM was advancing us manually to keep things moving. We “finished” with over 8 minutes on the clock and were hurried out as quickly as possible. I strongly suspect they were dealing with tight booking margins and willing to sacrifice our experience to get the next group in on time.
Game mechanics were fun, but we completed this room without doing several of the puzzle

My team and I blasted through this room. I find the rooms at Escapology to be a bit like the fast food of escape rooms. The production value is solid but the puzzles and storyline aren’t that interesting

My girlfriend and I have done over 30 escape rooms together, and we were very pleasantly surprised by this one at CityWalk. The puzzles had a great flow—challenging but logical—and everything felt thoughtfully designed. The lighting and atmosphere really helped set the mood and immerse us in the experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this location to both newcomers and seasoned escape room fans. Tarin was our game master and she did everything we asked to keep us on track to solve every puzzle.
So fun. Easy to follow. Puzzles flowed very well
