Western Bank Heist

Room was fun and a couple really clever puzzles ! Good for kids and parents

First off, shoutout to Kelly our game master. We jumped in and booked a room 10 minutes before it started and she was very polite. The room was well-built and had the vibe of a bank from a western. Very spacious for 2 people, it was fun to explore the space and see how they integrated classic pieces of the western aesthetic. My biggest gripe was the lack of sound cues that occurred when we solved things. It happened a couple of times where we solved something, a new thing opened, and when we found it we wouldn’t know they were correlated. It didn’t hinder our progression by any means but sound effects could have been bumped up a little.

The set is cute. Won’t blow you away but will scratch the itch. This room could do with a little refresh, but still fun. Beginner game. I played solo and got out in less than 40 minutes.

This room was easy to solve, but we were stuck at a part for almost 15-20 minutes and our GM knew we were stuck because their equipment was not working and instead of getting us through it they were rude about it. It was unfair because it was their equipment that was not working.

Did this room in 2023. Props didn’t work properly. Spent 25 mins trying to get a prop to work that wasn’t strong enough to actually do the thing it was supposed to do. Another prop wasn’t calibrated properly so the answer we were getting was off and when we asked for a clue the clue master was condescending and rude. Semi-functioning props make the room annoying and not enjoyable and disrupts the flow of gameplay. Have done other rooms at this place and they were pretty decent though! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not our absolute favorite room but only because the theme isn't something we typically like. If you like Westerns this is definitely the room for you. The puzzles were interesting, it flowed fairly well from puzzle and was a bit different than any room I've done before. Definitely worth the stop!

Many things wrong with this one. Not only did our game masters change with us being uninformed, but the 2nd game master was no help at all. First person was was great and talking to us through a speaker then the change. the 2nd talked to us through the screen in the wall. Didnt know for about 5-10 minutes. The safe was a disaster. We sat there for 25 minutes trying to open to no avail. 9 people all tried many and all ways. New game master gave us terrible clues and when the game was done belittle us like we were idiots. Walked right in and said it not that hard. When 9 people try and it domestic work clearly you were no help. Told us to re-set the safe a way he hadn't told us in his previous clues. We all started walking out because he was being a prick. Then asked if we wanted to do another at half price, we said no and his response "Ah come on don't go out like that really." Recommend people to stay away from this one.

Staff wasn’t very friendly.

Fun game, would rate this as easy to medium level. Puzzles aren't overly hard to solve. Fun game to bring newbies
