A secret hides high above. A test of mental ability and magical powers. Many don’t survive the challenge. Will you? This is no easy task. Even those who have spent their entire lives training and mastering their magical skills may not pass and will meet certain doom. The Tower is ruled by the Sorceress of the Kingdom. Her puzzles and tests will push you to your limit, but that is expected, for anyone who believes they have what it takes must be thoroughly tested. This is the story of your quest to become a Wizard. This is where it all began….long before you entered the Dragon’s Chamber and the Quest for the Dragon’s Egg. Sorceress Raven has tested all of the wizards and professors of magic for the ages. Few know what challenges lie inside – high up in the tower created by the Sorceress Raven. Once you enter and begin your test there is no turning back. If you survive you will become the newest Wizard of the Kingdom and you will determine the department of magic that you belong to and what your specialized magical potion will be. You will need all of your skills to survive and if you are smart enough you might have a chance…a chance of Escaping the Raven’s Tower.

Very interesting and fun new room to close out our ventures of every room in the Concord NH location. Puzzles were interesting and the room was extremely immersive.

Gameplay

There was always a puzzle to do. Some of the solutions to find clues were hard to identify for us without some assistance from the game master.

Atmosphere

Incredibly immersive and feels like you’re right in the magic.

Customer service

Gamemaster was great and nudged us when we were in a pickle.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

It felt like the whole room was mechanically connected which was mind-blowing.

Story

Magical elements were all around in the room.

Difficulty

Hard

Quite a few puzzles left my group of four stumped. The room is not forgiving when it comes to time consumption, with sound effects playing for extended periods of time before a puzzle unlocked in some cases, as well as pattern memory being necessary. We escaped with an extra minute or so allotted to finish the final puzzle.

Game tech

High tech

Not a lot of standard lock-and-key, and a lot of sound! Very unique in technology which I applaud.

Ideal number of players

3

Anywhere between 3-4 players I would consider ideal.

Was anything broken?

Yes

One locked automatic door failed to make a sound to indicate that it was unlocked, however our gamemaster was quick to let us know that it unlocked.

Somewhat

One puzzle involves getting down to the ground and peering into another room for clues.

Accessibility

Because of the puzzle where you get down to the ground, might be ideal for a person with mobility issues to tackle the room with people who can assist with that specific puzzle. Otherwise, largely accessible!

Escape Room Concord has been one of our favorite places to play for a long time and The Raven's Tower is one more example of what we've come to expect from them. The set is well done, the puzzles are fun and the owners are really great. It's clear that they have a ton of passion for escape rooms and providing top-notch service to their customers. There were enough puzzles to keep us, a group of four, experienced players, occupied the entire time. Thumbs up from us! Looking forward to playing the next one!

Magic is always a very popular theme for escape rooms, but this had some really fun and innovative takes on the theme. High-tech, unique physical puzzles felt very satisfying! The game master was very friendly and showed off the other rooms for us too. We loved how they gave you a free memento when you left as well! Definitely a fun memory.

This was an absolutely stunning room from beginning to end! The only room that we had done here at the time was the Library. The Library was a good solid room but it didn't blow me away. Stepping into the Raven's Tower was like jumping up a hundred levels in creativity and storytelling. The fantasy story was right up my alley and every aspect of the room fully played to the immersion. The set was absolutely stunning. The stone and wood working throughout was beautiful and sometimes you just had to pause a moment and marvel at it all. The puzzles were first rate and really gave us so much to do. There was great variety in the puzzles as well. I loved the fact that when a puzzle was correctly solved there was a distinct sound effect to make you realize you have completed it and to look around to see what changed. We went down to the wire and loved every second of it. There's nothing like having three seconds remaining on the clock to get the blood flowing! This is a must do room!

This game was PACKED. We came to this room with lots of experience and felt like we would have needed either more time or more people to complete the room. Puzzles can be solved as a divide and conquer, so two couples or at least 3 people would be an ideal match for this game.

Game master took time to chat with us about room designing and the facility. We love this location. They do an incredible job.

The puzzles were figure out-able. They make sense. They tickle your brain in just the right way. The challenge was the sheer number of puzzles. You do not need to solve then linearly per-say like some escape rooms. There is ALWAYS something to do.

This game was probably my favorite one here. It was very hands on and had some unique puzzles and elements. There were two of us and we were able to split up most of the game and continuously work on puzzles. Then there were some that brought us back together to work on as a team! Very fun
