one of their more difficult games and it shows. some puzzles can be brute forced, we actually skipped through a hefty part of the game. a lot of use has been done to this game and the room seems to be held together by sheer willpower. difficult in execution but a straight forward struggle none the less

Pretty good room. We have a group of five and I’ll say I wish we’d been able to solve multiple puzzles at once. A lot of the time it was just two or three people solving one puzzle at a time. Also, the hint person was just a tad too helpful toward the end. They were slammed at the moment, though, so I think they just panicked a bit

A difficult and convoluted game. Without hints, this is more of a 1:15 game based on my experience as well as the complexity and number of puzzles. Often times the puzzles tried to be difficult but were just confusing in the end. Escapology games seem geared for you to be force-fed clues the entire time to keep the game moving and this is no different.

A lot of convoluted puzzles. Probably not a typical 1 hour game.

Historical whodunnit where the puzzles unfold the story. Linear flow, minimal decor in a well-kept space. There was one puzzle that required making an unintuitive association but a clue got us going again. The hints are pre-packaged which means any request for hint explicitly tells you how to solve the puzzle. Zero red herrings, and our GM was briskly efficient. The Cheesecake Factory of escape rooms - an extensive menu, reasonably enjoyable, and with the polished service of a company that services hundreds of customers daily.
