This was a nice room, would be very fun for beginners. The puzzles were unique and not standard lock types. The only thing I didnβt like was that they send you hints whether you want them or not.

This would have been a fun single player challenge. I would recommend that for more experienced players.

Unique feeling room, with some unique puzzles from our experiences.
Single room, but the theming was extensive and well done.

An element within the room wasn't reset properly and were able to immediately open a panel with clues and the GM had to apologize and reset the room. Was funny to have a GM call a full stop for reset.

For a small room, this one is pack filled with puzzles. It's not a linear room so everyone can divide and conquer, which is nice. I had a group of 4 and we all enjoyed it. A lot of the doors pop open so sometimes it gave us a fright, but overall, it was a fun one.

There were so many different puzzles that I felt like the story wasn't really a story

The room is pretty small. I did it with 4 people and even that felt a bit crowded from time to time

Some of the doors popping open CAN be a bit scary because you're not expecting it

this was the third room we did at Puzzle Effect in as many days. It definitely ranked third among the rooms that we did (amnesia and curse of the emerald seas was a tie - each of us preferred one over the others). like all the puzzles at Puzzle Effect, this room was beautifully themed. overall, it was a really unique room with no traditional locks and puzzles that matched the theme.
We appreciate that you chose Puzzle Effect for your escape room experience π₯³ Thank you for your review! π

A single room and all the puzzles available make it confusing at first because you don't know where to really start. You'll get going and it becomes linear just by process of elimination. The puzzles were good. The room has been a little abused so some things are beat up. The set design is ok again, but with such a small room with three people made it tough. Any more than that, and it would not be good. I liked it but would not do it again.

The theme was different than most others. And the use of tech and physical objects was good, just left me a little disappointed.

This room felt unique as it did not have a single traditional lock. Thats a plus for me as it felt more interactive. The set design fit in well with the story. Puzzles were more linear and flowed nicely. Give it a try I think you will enjoy it.

This is an interesting room for sure. It feels very overwhelming and non-linear at first but turns out to be linear. Getting your bearings straight is the biggest hurdle in this room. The space is smaller and there are not any exciting surprises, it is just a nice room. Huge kudos for no padlocks! Given this is one of their older rooms, it did not feel like it as there were no signs of wear and tear

Cool idea, but no progression as you solved the room
Hard
Once you have everything you need to solve a puzzle, then they are fairly easy, but it is not always clear what to be working on when

On the easier side of puzzles that make it great for beginners. What I adore is the decor and immersiveness of these rooms. We had 5 people which worked out perfectly for the room size and number of puzzles. More interactive than traditional puzzles which I prefer. The main puzzle is something unique and kept us centered with the storyline. Although there was one puzzle that wasn't working properly, our GM helped us bypass it so we didn't realize anything was wrong with it.

Insanely cool room. No lockboxes. All untraditional locks and really made us think about where we were placing objects and how.
