Lab Rat

I LOVE IT!! They put a lot of effort into creating this room and making the rules more “special”. This room stands out among other escape rooms with a unique theme, atmosphere, puzzles, and props. The GM was also fantastic; he was very friendly and helpful during the game. I accidentally hurt my finger when solving the last puzzle, which was not serious, but the GM noticed. After we finished the game, he brought a first aid kit and asked if I needed it. I was grateful, told him it was ok, and thanked him for noticing, although I didn’t expect him to see 😅 it was embarrassing. We tried this room with only 2 people, my girlfriend and myself, even though the required minimum is 4 people. There will be A LOT of things to do, and we have to RUN against the clock to make it out before the time ends, but it was amusing to see how each puzzle was solved by ourselves. Overall, this room was WORTH IT!!

What a really cool experience! We really enjoyed the playfulness of this room so much and the puzzles were interesting. Our GM Ben was wonderful and took time to nerd out about escape rooms with us which we loved!

my 100th room and in my top 3 now. there’s a reason this game is so highly rated. it has a whimsy to it that i honestly still feel when writing out this review. the puzzles were fresh and the moments given to you in here won’t be easily recreated.

This room was hilarious & fun! A great take on the lab experiments except this time, we're the rats! There was so much to explore in this room and the music, lighting, and the special effects really put this all together. The story was funny and even when I thought I knew where this game was headed, I was proved wrong. This is a fun room to do for all ages.

Cool and unique concept, but I wasn’t too impressed… potentially because I raised my expectations too high. More challenging than some others I’ve done—probably not suitable for beginners. It was interesting and worth doing though. Best fit for those who like fun and quirky stories. Not scary. Will try the other escape room here at some point.

I loved this room! The set design was fantastic. The puzzle design was novel. I saw puzzles here I’ve never seen before or since. It was really fun trying to puzzle our way through! I will say I went with two people that aren’t really into escape rooms and they had a great time but between us we could not make it out. There was just so much to do and I couldn’t always rely on them to be as helpful as I needed! If you like challenging puzzles, this is def a great one but make sure you bring a few extra friends!

Such a fun, well-designed room. Has a unique story and an immersive way of presenting it. The puzzles were quirky with an edge of difficulty to it but stuck to the theme and kept you feeling like you were actually a mouse stuck in a cage. Truly an experience.

Fun story with a good driving narrative. Effects and props were clever. Most of the puzzles were pretty good.
