Special Ops: Mysterious Market

I did Special Ops with a full group of 8, with 4 people we didn't know. There was not enough to do for a group of 8, especially because the room was pretty linear. There were some very cool special effects (though one puzzle had a technological malfunction that we weren't told of). However, the thrill wasn't as high as the other rooms.

The set design here was epic. The room has a few pieces that are very interactive which was incredible to experience. Overall - the room was a bit of a let down in size and can be tough with a larger group simply because too many people are talking over each other and little details are missed.

Not my favorite of TER. Flow of 2nd half didn’t quite match the first! But still a good experience!

Very fun theme with a very apt title, “mysterious market”. The Escape Game put 2 random players in with us which detracted heavily from the experience. I strongly recommend going in as a private group. Mixing groups interferes with communication and caused us to get stuck on a puzzle because we didn’t realize one of the strangers was holding on to hidden information.

Finished with 58 seconds left!! Super tense finale

This is our least favorite game so far. It wasn’t intuitive especially in the latter part of the game and there was a tech glitch that added to some confusion. Very creative theming and the first part was quite engaging. Just lost us at the end. I’d do some other before this one.

Some of the coolest sets and puzzles- one interface towards the end was too technologically convoluted, but the gameplay itself was awesome. I had a blast!
