The 2000s were an innovative decade with the rise of film and social media contributing to globalization and communications. However, a secret society is conspiring to control the world through hidden subliminal messages. The hideout of his secret society was tracked down to an unassuming video store. Its employees have been renting out DVDs and using their social media platforms to spread conspiracies. Your mission is to travel back to the year 2005 and stop the secret society. You have 60 minutes to prevent mind controlling messages from uploading to the Internet. You are transported to the Colonel’s secret training location. There, you’ll face the tests created by some of the GREATEST MINDS OF SCIENCE. You are split into 2 groups, and have to collaborate, communicate and use your problem-solving skills to beat the challenge. Are you good enough to pass the challenge?

Overall a great experience. It starts in a very bland looking video store, but expands to some more high tech elements. They utilized sound, light and video very well throughout the experience.

Gameplay

Very novel, with lots of different video and audio and mechanical elements. I was there in the 80s, so it could be partially nostalgia as well.

Great atmosphere. It starts very basic, but moves to high tech with various interesting reveals throughout the experience.

Their newest room! Kinda different than their other rooms, less techy/nerdy feeling. Cool video themed room. They did incorporate tech related themes into the room, but it wasn't too overwhelming. Less numbers oriented. Really enjoyed it! Would be back if they open another room.

Really liked the theme and staff was super friendly. There was one or two puzzles that we got a bit stuck on but I blame our own dynamics more than the actual puzzles. It would have been helpful to have a demonstration of how the lock for the popcorn puzzle worked because you don’t see it too often and I wasn’t sure I was doing it right. Also, I recommend picking things up, there were a few items in the room that we stretched to access or run back and forth for only to find out they were mobile. Haha! Overall, I would recommend.

Cute room. Not a linear room, so you can solve many puzzles out of order. Good for big group but easily passable with just 2 people. Pay close attention to every inch of the room as you may miss something! Low tech room. Genuinely would recommend because I love this business! Easy level for experienced players.
