Tyler the GM was totally awesome. Helpful and in character. I feel the first part of the room was much more fun and engaging and the second part had much harder puzzles.

The year is 1887. You are passengers aboard the luxurious Angle Express—the pinnacle of steam-powered travel. But your journey takes a harrowing turn when disaster strikes: the train has been sabotaged, the brakes disabled, the engine room sealed tight behind a gauntlet of intricate puzzles… and the conductor and engineer have vanished without a trace!

79 escape rooms
The first half was fun; the puzzles were satisfying. The second half was the opposite. To give you an idea, imagine being given a Rubik's Cube. Is that fun to solve in an escape room? You expect modern puzzles with at least some twist, not standard old-school puzzles that you could do at home. And you'll encounter two obtuse puzzles like that in the second half. I loved the first half, but I do not recommend the second half. Also, there are two puzzles where you'll need to apply quite a bit of force - more than just finger strength. It will be relatively obvious where the force needs to be applied. Extra: we found a cute Easter egg (i.e., a hidden reference) and I loved it so much. I was told that only two people were able to recognize the reference in the last year.

This room was awesome! It flows very well and the puzzles were challenging. When we got towards the end, we struggled but it was well worth the struggles because the games were fun! Highly recommend this room and location, definitely will be watching for when another one opens with this company! Also, Tyler was very wonderful and a super great game master!
