Many years ago a curse was put on this ship and the entire crew for their sins. Since that wretched night, they have been capturing people at sea and holding them captive with the hope that they might be the ones to help break the spell, but no one has even come close. After you are caught, can you release everyone from this dark spell, or will you become a part of the cursed crew like so many before you?

This was the first of our two rooms at this location, it is enjoyable but there was definitely a lot in this room. Like it felt like it just kept going and at the end we were like can you just give us clues so we can escape. Overall enjoyable but like jumanji way better.
2 escape rooms
2 of us escaped this room with basically 30 seconds left. This is the second room we’ve done together and I’ve done 2 more outside of LA (so we’re experienced but not experts). Though we ended up cutting it close, I still think 2 was an okay number since there’s no puzzle that’s more than 2-handed really, but 3 or 4 people might get you out faster. It was labeled hard so we expected to not make it out and to be fair, we required hints in the later half. (Thank you to our GM whose name I’m sorry I forgot but was great and working solo on a holiday!) The first half we pretty much breezed through (it’s fairly intuitive and if you’ve done escape rooms before or do puzzles often some actions will be familiar to you) but it was fun and immersive and the theming was great (sound effects, props, puzzle designs). Good amount of puzzles and some good variety of puzzles too. Possibly because of age/overuse there were a few small mechanical things (we didn’t realize we did a puzzle right bc we didn’t hear something else open, stuff like that) but it was mostly pretty smooth. Because of the theme, the lighting is very low, some of the puzzles required some genuine squinting. So just prepare yourself for that aspect! I would recommend this room for sure. It’s not scary btw, just has some ghostly sound effects and skeletal props, but not much in the jump scare arena (which personally I like).

It was so-so. The tech for the last puzzle wasn’t working so the ending just felt flat. The GM had to come in and tell us we escaped 🙁 definitely had an older feel with writing on items and certain imagery on pieces worn out. Nothing exciting either.

As a team of two, we had a great time with this room. Our GM Andrew was obviously attentive and walked the perfect line of helping create an immersive experience without oversharing when we needed a small nudge. The flow was perfect- the puzzles were clear and clever, if not super layered. Reading other reviews, I wasn’t expecting much, honestly, but we had a blast.

Loved the theme of this room! The puzzles in this room were difficult. Really need to pay attention in this escape room to get through it in an orderly fashion. Loved the concept of this room! Great props and great theme.

This room was pretty fun. It was definitely well loved and some things were broken, but it was overall ok.

With a Ghost Ship theme, we expected a spooky experience. The experience was not spooky, but simply pirate themed. The puzzle design was standard, but there were a few puzzles that were designed pretty horribly, making it unintuitive to progress. I was not fully immersed in this experience due to seeing the cameras, microphones, props with messages saying how not to use them, and miscellaneous rooms that we weren’t supposed to enter. We had a group of two people, I think a group of three might be the ideal number. The GM was extremely nice, but the room itself didn’t leave me with a satisfying feeling.

This one was fun and there was definitely some frantic running around toward the end!
