This room was absolutely delightful. A perfect mom and pop escape room with limited production but extremely high execution of puzzles. Loaded with twists and turns! Even for an escape enthusiast who has done tons of rooms, this one was extremely satisfying and offered a unique perspective with fresh puzzles.

Great room! Wasn’t expecting to enjoy this one as much because I don’t always like lab rooms as they tend to look sterile and have similar scienc-y puzzles. But a certain audio aspect brought so much humor and a unique personal touch that I couldn’t help but be enamored. The puzzles are tough, but they’re logical, and we still made it out with good time to spare. I can’t recommend applying for a position at this laboratory, but I can say this room was a full beaker of fun!

Loved this room... Did it with my best friend and great storyline, the owner was amazing cuz she reset the room all by herself on a last-minute reservation, puzzles were difficult and intriguing and lots of love was put into this room. Would definitely recommend for a group of four if you've done at least a dozen escape rooms, which we've done over 100 combined. Also by the $20 cup, it's worth it!!!

Focustec Labs had a fun premise. We were interns for this lab and we haven’t seen our beloved professor, Patricia Cromwell, in a while. Little did we know that we were there for more than just this unpaid internship! The room itself is spacious and we were only in one room the whole time. For a group of 7, we didn’t feel cramped. The puzzles were non-linear so folks can split up but the puzzle at the end brings everyone together. Overall, it was a good room that forced us to think outside the box. Our game master, Patrick, also had some sass about him, which was very much appreciated. Maybe I just expected more high-tech puzzles because of the theme, and I wanted more. Great staff and we did do three rooms in one day. I mentioned this in the other review but Grapevine Escapes has a service where they pour unlimited drinks if you buy their tumbler. Getting a refill in the middle of the experience ruined the immersion for me. Other than that, I would rank this as my second favorite out of all three rooms in Grapevine

We enjoyed the room though it was a bit disjointed. I wouldn’t say that it flowed particularly well, but once we got a clue, we could start to figure out things. We had 5 people and we barely got it with a minute left. We did have to use several clues. The employees here are really nice.

The room had a good mix of puzzles and they fit into the theme. For the room theme however, there were a lot of mechanical locks and very little in terms of high tech puzzles. The room is set as 4-8 but I feel like 2-4 is more appropriate. The room is small and 8 people would be far too many. Even our group of 5 felt like it was pushing it in terms of having enough to do without having people standing around. The room could use some maintenance and cleaning - for example there were marks on the floor that gave away future puzzles / the grand finale. The staff at this location were fabulous. Everyone was very friendly and the GM was very attentive, for example using the room recordings to indicate we were in the right track as we discussed things, or repeating clues when we missed a number.

Wow I love the interactivity of the rooms at Grapevine Escape. This one is fun, well lit, and full of good puzzles. Our GMs have always done a great job of being present but not taking away from the experience. Absolutely one of our favorite escape businesses.

A fun puzzle room that led to a satisfying end. The staff is very nice and approachable. Sherry was excellent as our gamemaster and definitely elevated the experience with her cheerful attitude and demeanor!

Really amazing staff and room. Fun Puzzles! Super excited to see what this group does next.
