"Lost" by Dream Labs in Bad Steben definitely falls into the latter category. It is no ordinary game—it is a highly emotional, cinematic psychological journey that brilliantly blurs the lines between reality and fiction. The moment you step into the room, it becomes clear that Dream Labs has created a Hollywood-caliber set. The attention to detail is absolutely breathtaking—and deeply intimidating at the same time. The lighting design plays perfectly with shadow and darkness, while the sound design gives you constant goosebumps. Every creak, every muffled heartbeat in the background, and the skillful use of silence create a palpable, almost physical sense of dread. What makes "Lost" so special is its narrative depth. The story isn't just told in passing via written notes; it comes alive. It unfolds organically through the space and the dynamics of the game itself. The room taps into primal fears without resorting to cheap jump scares. It is the fear of the unknown, the sense of disorientation, and the emotional weight of the story that completely captivate you. The puzzles are masterfully integrated into the setting; every task and mechanism feels like it belongs exactly in this place and to this story. "Lost" by Dream Labs in Bad Steben is a true masterpiece of immersive design. It shook me emotionally, thrilled me, and left a deep impression. Anyone who loves escape rooms that combine a profound, dark story with perfect set design and maximum immersion simply has to play this room. Huge kudos to the creators for this intense, unforgettable experience!

This is genuinely one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever played. And that is quite something to say, considering I was absolutely terrified for most of the experience. Besides being one of the most beautiful, it is without a doubt also one of the scariest rooms I have ever played. Let’s start with the set design and story. Wow. I honestly don’t have the words for this. Every single detail has been carefully considered, and while playing, I genuinely felt like everything around me was real. That naturally made the danger feel all the more real as well. The sound, lighting, set design, and story come together perfectly and create what is perhaps the most beautiful experience Dreamlabs has to offer. The level of scariness was a real surprise. We’re fairly experienced with horror rooms by now, but this one genuinely got to me. I think especially because we didn’t expect it to become this intense, which made us genuinely jump a few times. The horror is never overly aggressive or actually dangerous, but it really gets into your head and stays with you. Personally, it became a little too much for me at one point. Luckily, we were able to communicate this to the team, and they handled it in a very good way, allowing us to continue the experience comfortably. And thankfully they did, because I absolutely wanted to see everything this room had to offer! The game hosts also deserve a special mention. What an acting performance. The Dreamlabs concept is used brilliantly to start your adventure, and this is largely thanks to the fantastic acting talent of the game hosts. At times, it was so convincing that I genuinely found myself wondering whether something was part of the room or was actually happening. That is a huge compliment. I do have one small point of criticism regarding the lack of space once the game starts. You are told to run and hide when you encounter “something”, but there is so little space at that point that you can easily end up panicking and bumping into each other or the walls. This may partly be down to the way we personally react to fear, but I don’t think we’re the only team whose instinct is to get as far away from the “danger” as quickly as possible. This made the fear even more intense and made the beginning somewhat frustrating at times because of constantly running into walls and teammates. Other than that, this is absolutely a must-play, but be prepared: this room is genuinely scary. I would love to play it again now that I know what to expect, so I can appreciate everything the room has to offer even more without being quite so terrified the entire time.

We played Lost as a group of 4 and we had an incredible time at Dream Labs. It was incredibly immersive and the GM and Actor did an amazing job contributing to the whole experience. I cannot wait to come back for the other two rooms! I recommend this room to anyone who is looking for an immersive horror experience that will create a lifetime memory.

We played Lost, and it was one of the most intense escape rooms I’ve ever experienced. The introduction was typical of the way Dream Labs builds its worlds. The horror theme was integrated perfectly and created an immersive atmosphere right from the start. This room is truly intense and definitely not for the faint-hearted. I’m usually not easily scared, but this experience definitely pushed me to my limits. I never expected an escape room to draw me in so completely, even though I always knew it was just a game. Franz and Maria both delivered an outstanding performance. Their acting took the entire experience to another level and made it even more immersive. Afterwards, we were told that it occasionally happens that individual players decide to leave the room early. However, the team came up with a clever solution that still allows those players to remain part of the overall experience. Franz also took the time after the game to explain some of the behind-the-scenes details and shared how different groups react to certain situations. That was really interesting and made the whole experience even more memorable. To get the full experience, I highly recommend playing Lost as your final room. At the very least, you should have played one of the other two rooms beforehand, as it makes certain connections and details even more rewarding. Overall, Lost is an outstanding escape room and an easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys immersive horror experiences.

Really immersive room, as always the intro was pretty great (for our taste a bit long) The room, which is more like an apartment size room, is crazy. You will need some good nerves for this one! We had so much fun to find out about the story with like the stuff we found. It feels like a game where you find little items to give you more about the story which is optional but so cool! We loved the feeling and can't wait to also make the last room at dream Labs!

One of one experience. An actual needle in a haystack hidden in the German Countryside. A fully immersive journey that challenged us in ways an escape room never has. One of the most compelling things about this room was honestly their ability to make you forget for a while that this is an experience you paid for and not a reality you have been transported to. Worth every penny. Shout out Janick the GM, the man! Do your best to do the other 2 rooms offered here before this room, trust!

Unlike anything I’ve ever done in my entire life. Must play this one.

Prepare to be scared for a very long time. Bring someone brave with you that finds funhouses boring or don’t bother going. This room was a rush. Excellent production value. We had someone in our party with mobility limitations and the staff was able to modify the room to fit our needs. The staff was wonderful! Great team here.

The best escape room we have ever played! From the very first minute, the experience was incredibly immersive – we were completely drawn into the story. The scare factor was 100%, combined with pure adrenaline throughout. It honestly wouldn’t be surprising if more timid players decided to quit the room early. For our group, this was an intense, amazing, and truly unique experience unlike anything we had encountered before. A huge thank you to our game master Jonah and actor Joris, whose outstanding performances made this adventure so memorable and special. An absolute MUST-DO for every escape room enthusiast! 👏🖤🔐
