Ruins: Forbidden Treasure

We have heard about the Ruins room in Nashville and have yet to make the trip out there. But this smaller version that Escape Game had exceeded my expectations that it definitely makes me want to go to Nashville even more. It’s an easier room than the other Escape Games (6/10 difficulty) but I enjoyed all the puzzles and found them intuitive. One of the production effects made me laugh out loud and depending on how jumpy you are, it could be a memorable experience (warrior heads). We had Angela as our game master and she went above and beyond for us. I was taking my younger sister to one of her first escape rooms and she made sure that we had a great time. I will be sure to recommend our friends to this location specifically. They have a Wall of Fame for individuals who finished all of the Escape Game rooms, which we happened to have done, so that is a nice touch! Great service and I would recommend no more than four people for this particular game.

Really fun good flowing game, a few props could use some repainting but didn’t dampen the fun! More tech puzzles rather than traditional locks.

Loved how immersive the room was! We had a group of 6 an got paired with another group of 2, so it was a little crowded for 8 people but the details of the room make it super immersive! Theres not that many puzzles so we flew through it with the number of people we have but I feel like a group of 4 would be solid for the difficulty of the room .

This escape game is thoughtfully crafted, with a large variety of interactive puzzles that keep you engaged throughout. Some challenges even require memory work, which adds an extra layer of excitement and immersion. The overall adventure feels reminiscent of an Indiana Jones experience, yet everything is entirely original in its design. It was incredibly fun from start to finish.

This was the first one we played from The Escape Game (and our 20th room as a group), and we barely made it out with 0:07 remaining. The room was pretty challenging and fun. TEG definitely delivers on the quality of the theming and puzzles, and is very immersive - definitely making you feel like you were in a crashed airplane then on to the ruins. The only downside with TEG is that they make these public rooms, so if you don't have a full group of 8, you either have to play with strangers or pay for the rest of the open slots to make it a Private Game. They do give you a 50% discount on the rest of the slots, but still is the only escape room we've encountered that does it this way.

This room was so much fun and really transported you to a feeling of being in the jungle in ruins. The puzzles were well done and challenging.

We played Ruins Jr and had a blast! Though it’s not quite as grand as its big brother in Nashville (I hear), it was still a great time! Definitely on the easier side, though some tricky puzzles slowed us down. Solid set and detailed environment. Definitely good to get a different game out to California. Can’t wait for Operation Yeti! Will was a great game master!

Great room and still remains the best TEG room. For the longest time this was only available out in Nashville but now out here. The rooms are similar but not the same. If you have the ability to go to Nashville I would recommend that as the games end quite differently but this location added some new puzzles to perhaps counterbalance the lack of ending in comparison to the OG. Tons of fun and a sight to see.
